What I think of this movie? As a Nigerian guy (very black and very Nigerian), if I ever wandered far into the woods wherever in the US, like this girl and got lost, what are the chances I'll ever comeback alive? I think they should do that movie.

Your chances of survival would depend greatly on whether you exist in the real world or in a movie. In a movie, you probably wouldn't survive especially if it was Hollywood's version of the southern U.S. like this movie. However, in the real world your chance of survival would be about 90-95% as long as you don't fall prey to a bear, mountain lion, snake, etc. In other words, your chance of coming out alive would only be about 5% lower than a white girl like Sawyer. Maybe less than a 5% difference because you may do better with the natural wildlife type of danger than a typical American city girl (of any race).

If you aren't near any of the last sundown towns in the deep south, don't trespass on the property of someone with an itchy trigger finger, and don't run into someone exceptionally aggressive and paranoid you're fine as far as human threats are concerned. I'd give you a 90-95% chance of survival depending on location. The real threat is dying of exposure if you are lost deep in the woods with no one looking for you. It's far more likely that what would kill you is some combination of dehydration, heat stroke, hypothermia, starvation, injury etc unless you are fairly adept at bushcraft.

First thing I would have done was tell the officer turn around and drop your gun on the floor. While moving silently to a different spot just incase he chose to shoot at me while doing a spin “pretending to drop the gun”
