When you’re riding a motocross track you wanna use your legs as compression in a sense. Stand up most of the time unless you’re turning around a berm and you’ll have more control over the bike(use knees to grip) and whatever you do, don’t shut off the throttle before you leave the lip of a jump. You will face plant. Love the vids ❤️

It's 100x more fun than it looks, personally I prefer dirtbikes cause you can take them on a lot more trails (at least around me) cause of how small they are, but both are and absolute blast and well worth it. Learning basic stuff is super easy as well

Couple little tips for motocross: - Grip / squeeze with your knees, it helps take some pressure off of your arms and keeps the bike a lot more stable. -Ride on the balls of your feet (right where your toes meet your foot and bend) this almost works as a second set of suspension and soaks up little bumps and makes everything feel a lot smoother. - When you’re putting your foot down going into corners try to keep your knee snug against the shroud, you don’t want it hanging out super far unless you wanna risk an ACL tear or other knee injury’s. - When hitting jumps try to stay in a neutral position. You don’t want to be hanging off the back of the bike, that can send you into what we call a “Boner Air” 😂 it sounds funny but can be super dangerous if you don’t know how to brake tap. Hope some of these helped, got a lot more if you need :)

If you want the best balance for when you ride on a track. The key is not to put the foot peg in the arch of your foot but stand on the ball of your foot this will help keep your weight over the center of the bike and give you more control. Good way to practice this is when the bike is on a stand, put your arch on the peg and stand up have someone push on you, you will lose your balance quickly. Then do the same on the balls of your feet you will notice you are much more stable hope this helps.

Stand up on the balls of your feet, toes pointed in. That is where feeling “light on the bike” comes from. Elbows out and pointed. Easy on the grip with your hands, too much grip increases arm pump. Let your legs grip the bike. Back straight. Counterbalance is key in turns. Don’t be afraid of ruts. Stay on outside of seat when turning. Sit down as little as possible. Bending knees will help a lot on landing. Your center of gravity will be found more towards the front. You’re pretty tall. Taller handle bars might help out with keeping the back straight and elbows out and bent. Always fully commit to any rut in a turn and every jump you hit. Leave the face of the jump on the throttle. In the air, back brake will lower front end, more throttle will raise front end. Never land on the brakes. Give it a slight moment after landing before braking for a turn

Lol, when on the bike keep your elbows up and squeeze with your knees on the shrouds to keep the bike from coming out from under you, and stay further up on the bike in a more natural position to keep the suspension set 🙂
