Im a bit confused with this argument of guys saying the twerking scene was unprofessional as a lawyer. While in the gran scheme that is true but in the comics she hulk is a party girl and openly sexual at times. When she hulk was first starting ppl (men,nothing wrong with that and she hulk fans) wanted her sexy with her confident party girl attitude. So I’m a bit confused when when she does something sexy it’s bashed for being sexy and unprofessional. Now here’s my fake on the Meghan thee stallion scene I thought It was cringe and so was the twerking it was very out of place and I personally didn’t like it not because it was proacative but it was cringe like these writers just picked this scene to make it trendy for younger audience.

@@weezyslob I thought I acknowledge that, I said grab scheme wise you shouldn’t do that at work as a lawyer but I heard in the comics she was quite sexy. So it didn’t make sense. I was kinda saying how ppl are calling her a whore and degenerate cuz she did sec appeal quite cringy really. @@buttertoast8613 I have zero issue with her being sexual, having sex on the show, etc, zero. I’ve never called the character a whore. Yeah, "twerking" has been around for a while but most white people probably were not aware of it or knew how to do it. And then comes Miley Cyrus, some unattractive white girl who introduces it to a lot of white people, given that is her main audience. So most of us made fun of her for what is obviously a classless and ghetto-esque "dance" move that required a big derriere to properly perform, which she obviously lacks. Cue the black community as well, who were outraged that another white person was (yet again, according to them) appropriating their culture. Then you had all the rapper girls coming out shortly afterwards to show the world how to really twerk, since the white girl basically ruined it with her pathetic attempt, this leading to a culture where younger girls were seeing their idols (god help us) dancing and they wanting to imitate it. Times surely change a lot within ten years.

Being from the South, I have never heard that as a compliment towards women (usually it's directed toward virile, sexy men), and it really seems like some weirdo called her Stallion, and her uncle made something up to make her happy. @LochVandral2 жыл бұрын
@@buttertoast8613 You seem to keep harping on this one topic, without taking into account that aside from that ONE scene the character in the show has nothing in common with the comic book character besides stature and color. The issue people are taking isn't with She-Hulk doing something perceived as sexual, the issue is that this NOT-Shulkie character who has pretty much nothing else in common with the original, immediately contradicts her own so-called Message by acting like the original in a brief, confusing, and frankly pretty random scene. If the character had been portrayed up to this point as...well, actual She-Hulk, most people probably would have found this scene funny instead. Not me personally, I've always thought "twerking" was just silly-looking, but I could ignore it if the character was at least consistent.

True I don’t mind having a sexy/party girl scene cuz she was like that in the comics but in the show she is scene as very serious and the only party girl thing we see her do is go to the bar with her co workers. So it’s out of place. I’m not saying women can’t have fun. Like I was over sexualized growing up and was followed a lot when walking home but I’m still allowed to go shopping and get a nice sexyish dress and feel good about myself. They could have used this thing as a character arc tho, Jen who is very serious and quite prudish even to her own good but is scared to be sexy because it’s very new and is scared that she may look foolish. But over sometime she gets comfortable with her body and wears flattering clothes it can be from sexy to cute and depending on occasion. Like if she’s in the office it would tone down the sexy and turn up more stylish choices like Elle woods in legal blonde when she has court scene vs how’s she’s dressed at parties. She ends up taking more care into her looks becaus it makes her feel confident and that’s was always what she admires. Which can break off into finding female friends who she can look up too and feel comfortable with while exploring herself.

This show just proves the point that having a Fourth Wall-Breaking character who's hapless, self-absorbed and fixated on pointing out everyone else's shortcomings while simultaneously ignoring and doing nothing to improve her own is not entertaining in any way. Great video as always, Papa Gundam. Have a great week.

i found the "misogynist" comments from the male character to be more funny than anything. they got a little chuckle out of me. "look, there's a more attractive woman. im gonna go talk to it"
@meatpuppet50362 жыл бұрын
He delivers it well, but the problem is that show isn't really saying "look at this exaggerated thing" they're saying "its like this every day for every woman". That's not satire at all, that's finger wagging. Also, he'll almost certainly get come uppance, and it will be out of all proportion to what he does. Nu-Trek was willing to kill a dude for "mansplaining", because that's the level of sociopathy Proglodytes are at.

@@meatpuppet5036 i understand the intention behind it completely. But i still found it funny. The fact i can laugh at something that they never intended to be humorous is comedy in of itself and a example of their failure to spread their "message". @@darthgames3 the reason most people use to love marvel is cuz its stories plots and characters use to be relatable and realistic. Save this bullshit for da sitcoms and dramas and give us real superheroes. And i love sitcoms and...some dramas but this shit isnt even funny. Im black, one of my favorite shows is blackish but not cuz theyre black cuz the show is actually funny and the political stuff in that show is made for that type of show and they find a way to make it funny or at least not boring. Theres also house of payne, meet the brown, the reboots of one day at a time and icarly hell theres also shameless...with crazy gay Ian. I love all those shows and not cuz im black or bi or have been through the same shit the character with through cuz none of there problems are realistic at all, its because the shit is actually funny. Rogue one is my favorite star wars movie, not cuz every other characters a "person of color" i couldnt care less. Its because the actually characters are done just right, it doesnt feel slow or rushed at any point in the movie, and plot actually makes sense and when they die in the end you go like "WTF" but in a good way. They gave no justice to Saw which is kinda fucked up, you can tell kathy had a hand in this, but the movie is still good, she deleted most vader scenes, but the movie was still good
