How many writers do you think have worked on all the Law & Order shows over the years? It's gotta be dozens, at the very least. Probably even in the low triple digits. And I doubt a single (living) one of them would turn down the offer to come in and demonstrate the basics of how to write a courtroom scene for the rest of writing squad. But they didn't want that. All they wanted to do was self-insert, and they're not lawyers. All that lawyer stuff would only get in the way of their self-insertion.

I got catcalled but cops once. They used the radio. That pissed me off a lot but I don’t live in fear. I was angry they used their radios so that everyone on the street heard it. I had an abusive father but I don’t live in fear. I really think these women who say they live in fear of men have never actually been at the mercy of evil ones. Men are just humans, people. Some are bad and some are good. I think the difference between men and women is that bad men burn down the village, and bad women raise bad men. I’ve had mostly horrible male role models throughout my life, but I’ve met a lot of great men. This whole show is like a toddler in an adult body saying she hates boys because they have cooties and boys are sooooo gross. I hate that so many men now live in fear of losing their livelihoods for speaking out against this woke bullshit. I hate that masculinity is demonized in men but praised in women. Being feminine is always stupid and weak. I liked black widow a lot because she utilized femininity, she was never shown to be masculine. She was vulnerable, and human but not helpless. That is a female character. Not this shit. Sorry for the rant.

I tend to think about it in terms of depicting people as animals. Women are Gazelle and men are Lions. No matter how kind the lion may be gazelles will naturally have a fear of them.

so glad i'm not obsessed with all these universes. and i can easily quit watching any series based on lotr, mcu, sw or whatever halfway through the first episode. with one exception - the witcher. so i can understand the pain of every fan. even if the witcher series made me laugh a lot, i'd prefer a less dumb creativity.
