Watching these gameplay videos is so pleasing to a Zero fan like myself. Because everytime he comes out, it plays the MMX2 music, and he just lays a can of whoop ass on every person he's fighting. It's fucking AWESOME.

@Socran You're right, I didn't notice that at all. I'm pretty sure it's an effect when someone finishes the match with a special. Capcom is known for having something happen in the background after a win in a fighting game. Good eye.

@iGizz0 Sougenmu. Originally from X5(under the name Twin Dream), the technique was Zero's version of X's Soul Body from X4. In this game, it does exactly the same thing as TvC, creating a shadow whenever Zero performs a move, effectively doubling the power and effectiveness of his combos and blasts.

@iGizz0 You can notice just one thing in this video (just to help you to give you an idea) at 2:34 he could shoot double Z Buster instead of one. I think you can see the effect, but you are right no one would be able to clearly see the effect until try it.

i must be a total nerd, but i think theres something uberly awesome about watching the combo count REALLY skyrocket like they did there just now during the DHC from rekkoha --> inferno. much more impressive than seeing a 164 hit combo from 4 hyper viper beams linked in mvc2

@Ike7175 I heard that characters like him and Silver Surfer WERE going to be in the game, they just didn't know how to use their equipment (Ghost Rider's bike, Silver Surfer's surfboard) in the game. I agree with you that he could use his bike as a Hyper Combo.

@spike10095 If its like TvC, then if you hold an attack, it charges buster. But you lose it when Zero gets hurt. and If by Slow cutting move, you mean the big green one grounded and then followed by the red, its shown in MegamanX4.

@GalladeKirby64 I spent a considerable amount of time looking for the article, but I did not find it again. Sorry. I do know that my source was from Eventhubs, and that it said X-Factor was nerfed, as well as scaled damage were fixed so that it does NOT do much damage. It still does a lot though.

The great thing about MvC3 is that they added more characters from capcom series than just popular characters from street fighter and such, they got Devil may cry, and Resident Evil, Pretty Beast Yo :D

@Yarento This Zero Have a bigger fan base while the mmz one have more of the kids fan base. So they are most likely aiming for the Adult/Older fan base. That is my guess.

I don't know if the developers did a terrible job designing Wesker, or just that NOBODY knows how to use him. it sucks seeing such a badass antagonist be a punching bag so much. and I love the cross-character interaction with saying each other's names, its so awesome lmao :D

@Pokechao He's the exact same except with fire. His shoryuken is the same, his tetsumakiwhatever is the same only with a bit of a fall, his hadokens are the same, his animations are the exact same, you just add fire and make them very slightly different. Akuma is in a leaked screenshot sadly but I hear he's entirely different then Ryu, like they changed him entirely from what people expect so hoping that holds true, but yeah, there's a reason capcom themselves refer to him as a shotoclone.

@Sephirex I dunno, I mean, he has fairly low health as you saw with the Hulk combo. But still, they should probably speed up his combos, it gets kind of boring to be caught in one and have to wait a full 15 seconds for it to end, when there are so many other characters that can do the same amount of damage in a third of that time. But other than that, he's pretty high-risk, high-reward at least IMO.

I like that Ryota Niitsuma said that in a recent interview with Gamespot that they were putting much more of an emphasis on female characters in this game, and specifically the Marvel side. as far as I can see, if they have (at LEAST) Storm, X-23 and She-Hulk, they're pretty much set. Psylocke would be a great addition though :D I just really hope that Cammy White and Haggar are in!

@ThisIsACoolGuy did you know that ever since street fighter 2 ken and ryu have had slightly different fighting styles? although their movesets are pretty much the same they are slightly different, i have always found ken to fit my playstyle better than ryu.

Wow. I didn't think they could make Hulk slower, but there it is. Zero is a ballistic firestorm of combos, it's almost gratuitous at this point. He doesn't even get that much scaling considering the many hits.

@transcollege I never said Dante was cheap. I was referring to his 100% combo. That needed X-Factor and two bars (or at least 1 and a half at the start), in comparison to Zero's infinite that needs two bars and certain characters in reserve. I agree, Ironman's Proton Cannon should not do that much chip damage. It should have (Tekkaman Blade's) Voltekka chip damage, that wasn't a lot.

In Zero's case, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the last character on a team, and he basically solo's the enemy team. He's that awesome.

@RayconLAC Not to mention that Zero wins with the same cheap finisher in both videos, just combos and grounds the opponent and does a Tenkuhoha level 1 Ultra to pick up the opponent from the ground then the opponent cannot recover and is completely defenseless to any second ultra which can even be a level 3 Ultra, this double-ultra set up alone easily destroys around 50%-60% lifebar of a character.
