Great video! I'm sure someone else answered already but you had a Torx driver. Couldn't tell if you used bits in the end. It's also referred to as a Star drive as a slang term. If you have a window in the garage, it may be best to get a window AC unit. If that's not the case, you can try a Mr. Cool Mini Split system.

Hi Vanessa. Robert Simmons introduced his Facebook audience to you. A couple of suggestions for you as you do the next one. 1) Harbor Freight has a magnetic dish for your screws and bolts. 2) I would put a cloth over the fender as well... Maybe use the magnetic dish to hold it on. It might save on scratches if you dropped a screw on it.

@iflyayak2 жыл бұрын
Love mine, traded my stage 4 18 SGS on an ST and won't look back, The wind management is spot and all you need is the proper shield height to get the wind out of you face, there is no buffeting at all and the LRST is such a better bike, the suspension front and back is great.
@wtfbbqthx2 жыл бұрын
I am 6'1" and the stock shield kicks wind basically at my chin. Not in a bad way because it counters the push from the wind on my helmet. Other than wind noise it is comfortable up to 100 for me without causing vibration from buffeting. I tried the harley 10" shield and at 65+ it kicks vortices directly into the top front of my helmet. When there is a blacked out Klock Werks 9" or 12" flare for the ST I am grabbing one. Until then the stock one is decent. I've only spent an hour on an RG and had years on an 08 fat bob with no shield, though, so any wind blocked is a big change for me. Ymmv but I think if you are over 6' you probably wanna wait for taller.

A LOT of posts about the almost innumerable defects these are coming with from factory, Including the headlight ring that falls off if you so much as look at it lol. Okay. I should have watched this video BEFORE I installed the new 10" Klockwerks on my ST. My experience was a lot different than yours: Tools Needed in my install: T25 Torx Soapy Water Finger Nails >25 MO@#ER F%#@!RS 10 FU%$*RS 16 Piece of SH*^S Preparation Remove wife and dog out of the garage (this actually occurred during the installation by them not wanting to be part of my agony) Although the removal and install was straight forward, Klockwerks instructions are to remove the rubber grommets pushing from the front out the back (this was easy and necessary as to not damage them). However, they instruct you to install the grommet from the rear, pushing out in the front. It is at this point, I should have deviated from the instructions. 😞 I actually thought about packing my bike up and the the new windshield, and riding down to Daytona for bike week so the Klockwerks staff could personally perform my installation because reinstalling the grommets was miserable. Eventually I was successful because I refused to be beat! Had I watched your video first and installed the grommets from the front, I would not have needed tools 3-6 listed above and my wife and dog could have been part of the installation experience. The 10" windshield is great for me and keeps the wind out of face as I wear a half helmet. If I had to do the install over again the way Klockwerks suggests, I would pay an extra $1000 if it came with the grommets already installed! I write all of this not to complain; but to suggest that you do it the way @sheridesmoto instructs! See you @sheridesmoto at the dealership!
@sheridesmoto Жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness! I feel bad that I chuckled a little at this comment. I didn’t even read the instructions… which now I see is apparently a good thing 😅 I probably would have been trying it that way too, figuring there had to be some reason for it haha.
