It's slightly irritating to see people come up there and think they are going to get HIGHEST POSSIBLE ASKING PRICE when they are selling to someone who is going to resell them. If you want the most money possible then you need to do the work yourself and either open up a storefront/set up a booth or wait and wait and wait for someone to buy them. Either way, thinking you are going to be able to sell your shoes to a reseller for top dollar is just silly, especially when they aren't super rare or sought after.

Okay trying on a shoe does NOT un-deadstock a shoe! You buy from online retailers (like Footlocker or many others) you WILL buy a pair that has been tried on that came off the shelf that they are selling to you as brand new.

its does to collectors. any sign of wear or dirt is undeadstocked
@frogtofall2 жыл бұрын
@@johannadam3183 I’m a collector. Trying on a shoe doesn’t get it dirty or show signs of wear. Obviously if it did that would mean they did more than try it on. @@noskpain2792 Yeha exactly. I’ve purchased at least 2-3 pairs off Footlocker/Champs/JD Sports etc that came with one of the shoes laces loosened and others where the shoe paper is missing on one and so on. Clean shoe otherwise just tried on. I always put on fresh socks and do it only after having showered. Now if you got people walking around their house for 10 mins in them, that’s a no go. Why do people buy shoes and expect to sell them for the rate businesses sell them for? Even if they watch the videos why do they act surprised

It drives me nuts seeing people walk up and think they are going to get the price that resellers are asking. People just have no common sense or business sense. They will point out the highest asking price on stockx or ebay and think they are entitled to that same price. NOPE!

Sitting on $1000's worth of shoes means nothing if you need money to live. I've taken L's to get money back to invest in stuff I know I can move.
