Hey Richard, My gf and I have to move out of our apartment at the end of month; It has been a stressful, from looking for a place, to her losing her job. Her financial uncertainty has led to constant mood swings resulting in her yelling at me constantly and her updosing in mood stabilizers which has led to a significant weight gain. Now she's telling me she found a place with four guys where she'll pay almost nothing a month and wants "her own space" and "make new friends", what should I do?

The main thing missing in relationships today that men desire even more than love is respect. A woman will get love from her man if he feels respected. In the beginning the women always respects the man but in time this is the number one attribute that seems to fade. I can equate this one attribute to the downfall of all relationships and it is the lack of respect that indicates when a relationship is over. If somebody wants marriage counseling the best advice I can give them is, when did the lack of respect begin to happen and how do you get that back because if you can fix that you can fix the relationship if you can’t it’s doomed. Great topic of discussion would be the topic of respect.

Bryce Salte a big part of this is the way most women go around ticking boxes then proceed to fit you in certain categories when most of the time it shouldn’t require that. I think it’s how they (or humans in general) profile and judge people but man, I feel like women needlessly take it to new level. It may have something to do with mating differences? Women disqualify potential partners and men qualify potential partners as they go.

@Redrustyhill This right here is exactly how my relationship with my ex went. Everything was great so i thought, i asked her to marry me and we were engaged. She would always poke fun at the little trivial things that she didn't approve of and i just laughed with her even though i was naive to what was going on. Then all of a sudden like you said i was on the shit list. Calling me a man child. She's unhappy with me and everything else in her life at the time. Then no matter what i would do to fix the issues she still found a way to bitch at me because i didn't do it exactly as she wanted. Then i tried to confront her about her emotions of late and she was the one to pack it up right then and there.

I lived with a girl once. Our last place was a cottage just outside of town with an acre or so of land attached. I loved that place, Rich, but always felt as though there was something missing. It is unfortunate but we yearn for someone willing to fight for a genuine connection, for “real love”. I Love what you’re doing. I recently had a similar situation. She was lazy, getting fat, did nothing and had nothing much to talk about. She would moan and bitch about everything without actually doing anything positive. Then she started cancelling visits and spending more time with the guys from work. When she told me she had stayed over at a 'friend's' place and 'stuff' had happened, I actually wondered why he would do it with her! So, not a second more wasted. No contact, ghosted, expunged, call it what you will. Dude, you're like the older brother or father I never had. Lots of medicines cause weight gain , any med for depression or anxiety , any hormon/steroid including birth control or anything to do with diabetes, sleep aids, chemotherapy drugs, heart medications, renal drugs Also women don't process calories the same way , our body's are made to store extra to provide for offspring in time of need(which usually doesn't happen anymore)
