This is what I miss about living near the city. Years ago, we'd go downtown to shop on the weekends. Some corners always had young kids beating on buckets & hub cabs. People would dance, the music was that good.

I’m 71. I’ve observed many street musicians and hometown bands. I read a lot of news. The world is so depressing I’m just waiting for things to collapse. The people I just love are those who pause going absolutely nowhere, to enjoy and absorb an artist who is performing his/her skills for everyone to enjoy. That has to be their greatest reward. A shapely behind wandering by and giving a brief showing is food for the soul.
