She was also writing coherently in her journals, behaving normally, denying hearing voices to her doctors. She also spoke normally on the phone with her husband to not raise alarm bells with him. Her behaviors don’t point to a psychotic break but something more calculated. It’s funny how her wounds were all superficial. The prosecution is saying she slid out the window and the only reason she was severely injured was because she didn’t take into account the ground being frozen. The whole situation is sad. None of the kids wounds were superficial or survivable. And of course she is still here.

EXACTLY! PPD is real and awful, but when you CHOOSE to have a child, that’s a chance you take like I did. I got PPD and I choose to have my son, I’m an Adult, therefore I was responsible for getting myself the help I needed at all costs to get better and be healthy to be the best mom I could be. I did that and it was very very difficult and took many different doctor visits, different meds to try, and months, but I as an Adult was fully responsible for getting the help I needed no matter how difficult, and no matter how inconvenient! EVERY woman in that position has a responsibility as well and mental illness is NOT an excuse at all! Bottom line! I wish people would understand that.

Reporting herself to law enforcement if need be. Which medication is it that takes away her ability to mourn the loss of her children or feel any guilt/shame? I was unaware that there was a medication used to treat "psychiatric patients" that took away ALL your emotions. "FEEL" in an EMOTIONAL sense not a physical sense, being paralyzed doesn't paralyze your ability to feel sadness, shame, remorse, loss, etc. Do some research on ACTUAL patients with severe psychiatric disorders that have committed crimes or harmed others during any period of psychosis where they were not in control of their behavior and have no memory of what happened. Let's say for instance a schizophrenic, when they later have to show up to court to face/hear what they have done...they are truly remorseful and horrified to hear how they behaved or what they have done. THAT is REAL and it happens every day. Why? because they are not in control of their behavior but once they are or come out of their psychosis they FEEL really bad, really helpless and it's a sad difficult thing to watch because those poor people can't help it. There's no psychiatric disorder or reasonable explanation in the DSM that explains ANY of her behavior because it's FAKE.
