It was clearly too heavy for him. At the end of the day, it's physics. Every material has a failure point. If you go beyond it, then that's it. Bad form comes with fatigue too. @@rminitials

@@SuperMontsta If you dump from overhead or a front rack position, that's what happens. That's why they are called bumper plates. I don't even do weightlifting but as said earlier the clean & press + full dump WILL continue until morale improves.

@@frysebox1 Bumper is to protect the floor from the other plates hitting. They're not for slamming down and bouncing them like a basketball. You can drop from that height and it WILL NOT bounce up that high unless you push it towards floor. I'm taller, further drop, and wouldn't do it.

Literal copy and paste "A bumper plate's purpose is to protect you, your barbell, your floors, and your plates from harm during weightlifting when the metal bar is in danger of being dropped. Bumper plates shouldn't ricochet into your walls due to their low, dead bounce because they are covered with rubber." LOW DEAD BOUNCE. It went higher because she pushed it down. 🤦♂️ Have you ever gymed, bro?

The people fainting is due to a sudden drop of blood pressure and not because of holding your breath or lack of oxygen. One has very high blood pressure during extraneous exercise and then they put the weight down. Then the blood pressure is dropped significantly especially if the veins are really pumped so the brain doesn't get enough blood and one feels light headed/dizzy and some pass out. This is why they pass out after the rep and not during. Anybody can hold their breath for a 10-15 seconds. Some people can hold their breath for 1-2 minutes. It is passing out due to big drop of blood pressure to the brain. This is why people pass out in seconds from a rear naked choke. Cut or lower the blood flow to the brain.

@user-kf2ut3fr7r Yes oxygen is in blood but has nothing to do with breathing "incorrectly" as why people faint during these exercises. It has to do with blood flow. A person can take big deep breaths and he can still pass out with sudden big drop of blood pressure. If you think people are getting dizzy or fainting due to incorrect breathing, you have no clue what you are talking about. When you see a big guy squatting heavy and you see him getting little dizzy, don't go over and give your breathing tips. I am very vascular and have a ton of pumped expanded veins when I do squats and dead lifts. When I do max and I put the weight down, I get dizzy at times. My veins are still fully expanded after I put the weight down and my heart rate & blood pressure both drop. The blood flow to the brain is reduced. People that faint is due to blood flow and not breathing incorrectly.

All I’m saying is that oxygen is the most essential thing for the brain and it has to stay oxygenated by all costs, usually your heart rate goes up for that purpose as well as your breathing rate. I’ve never experienced the faint feeling while heavy lifting but I’d suggest it can be avoided by warming up properly to keep heart rate up right before the set.

Crazy how anyone who lifts heavy is considers "Ego lifting" , he's doing a decent close enough to 90 degree Dips , and probably got snapped up because all the sh!t he's taking (which probably what limited his ROM in the first place) . however not because he's not doing "cute" reps with 10min eccentric and 30min pause with perfect control that means he's Ego lifting , heavy weights are gonna look heavy regardless .

1. If you're gone from the machine long enough for someone to take the weights off, it ain't still your machine nor your weights. You should have re-racked them. 2. If the weights bounce back to your crotch when you're putting them down, you're doing it wrong. But that was a fake video anyway - no one else is in that gym.
