There are people in America who go to Jamaica, see people living nice and comfortable and badmind them and encouraged them to come and live in America. I have two suggestions - online training programs to be certified for example she can work remotely and keep the other job. Or she can go to the unemployment program and find out what training programs that she feels comfortable with and go through the course.

Every state is different. In Florida nothing is offered for job training in some counties. No public transportation either, basically no help for the poor.

As you said, you don't know this lady from no where except online. Sometimes people can act like sunshine over social media/phone and once they move in, you realize that they are a Tsunami. Miss Donna, it is 2 places that she left, her family and she got kicked out of the 2nd. One has to now wonder is it the family or friend that is the problem or is it her. But that being said, I would say go back to Jamaica or suffer at the hands of this black family until she can do better. Tell her to save her little money to rent a one room and when she has enough she can then look for another job. My grand parents and some aunties, this was the way they forged ahead. Tell her not to tell her employer her intentions/business because if she does, she might get tossed out again. Even with a live in, she might still get abuse because people who do live ins, usually go home on the weekends and when people see that you do not have a place to go then that is when the abuse starts. Good luck to her.
