In a small Igbo village named Umuofia, there lived a kind and hardworking man named Obinna. Obinna was known for his strength, wisdom, and his devotion to his beautiful wife, Adaeze. Together, they lived a happy and prosperous life, blessing their home with laughter and love.
One fateful day, Obinna fell gravely ill. His kidneys failed him, and despite the village healer's best efforts, he became bedridden and eventually lost his sight. Adaeze, overwhelmed by the sudden change in their fortunes and the burden of caring for a blind and ailing husband, decided to leave him. She believed she could not handle the hardship and quietly departed one night, leaving Obinna alone and heartbroken.
