After seeing numerous different farming Channels with all their big beautiful equipment I am of the believe that Farmer on the Prairie is more typical of the average American Farmer more struggles with equipment and making ends meet

The farmer that cash rents my Dad's crop acreage bought a 1660 with high hours but the price was so low he couldn't pass. 10 years on and he's still running it and made him switch from Massey Ferguson to Case IH combines. The 1660 is a fine machine and one of the best combines ever made.

Is yours the Cummins or IH engine? Being a purist I liked the IH engines as they were much quieter-I still weep over the demise of IH after I grew up on grandpa's 'M', a 400, and my Dad's beloved 856. We never were able to get an Axial-Flow. My Dad was still using his old 403 IH up to '92 when he decided to start working to make ends meet as we only have 320 acres. Greetings from Missouri!

That Case is an amazing Combine, but she could do with a few more lights on the front to help light up the crops that are being harvested. Also I love that blower!! need that after my shower instead of a towel so that I'd be dry in no time!! :D As my old boss used to "the 5 P's are important when you are working" They are Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance. By using the blower it has 99.9% prevented the chance of a Combine Fire, which nobody wants to see happen on this channel as you guys are awesome!!!!!! 10/10 guys. Keep on Farming

Hi Seth. Glad to come home and see a video from you. Always like the machines that you farmers use, they are amazing. I can't imagine how stressful the weather makes your farm life. Seems it is getting more and more intense and unpredictable. Enjoy the shower and have a great night.

Seth, Elton Musk is looking for one of his booster rockets. I think you have been using it as a leaf blower. So nice to see a typical farm operation. Just like small family farms in Western Canada. It is not the age of the equipment it is how well it has been maintained. Great video Thank You.
