When Irene Gakwa left Kenya in 2019 for the US, her dream was to become a nurse and explore more opportunities in the healthcare industry. But what many people did not know was that Irene had met a man by the name of Nathan Hightman on a social platform known as Craiglist and they moved in together shortly after.
Then Irene went missing and Immediately, Nathan withdrew more than $3000 from her account and maxed out another $3230 from her credit account. To his defense, Nathan said he removed the money to force Irene to come back to him.
All Nathan was charged with was two felony counts of theft and unlawful use of Irene's credit card. He still insists Irene packed her items in a paper bag and drove off in a black SUV and he has nothing to do with her disappearance.

The family should reach out to American true crime youtubers like kimberlyleigh, Stephanie Harlowe, Kendall Rea**, Mike from That Chapter, Southern girl crime, leya nicole. These people would be at a better position to raise awareness of the case. Unfortunately I don't think Irene Gakwa is missing she was probably unalivened. Or the worst case scenario due to her petite frame was sold in to a human trafficking ring by her boyfriend. But I don't think this case will have a happy ending. 🤔 Also Lynn I don't like the title of this video, she has a name, putting the idea of how she met her bf on the title makes it look like you are blaming the victim her for what befell her. Not using her names makes it look like it's more important to know how she met her misfortune than who she was. A better title would have been : Where is Irene Gakwa? Missing in Gillette, Wyoming. Thus title gives the victim a name and also gives more information about where she went missing. People browsing KZbin from Wyoming are more likely to watch the video because they know wyoming and would be more likely to watch thus video. People who are in the usa would be more likely to watch the video because KZbin would recommend the video to more Americans. Us Kenyans who are in Kenya can't help locate Irene but people in the USA can, so your target audience for this video should be Americans and not us Kenyans. Secondly if you truly want to help this family try reach out to the above true crime youtubers and collaborate with them together with the family. The first one you should reach out to is Kendall Rae at the moment she is on maternity leave but she can really be of help. And she is located in Colarado which is I guess near Wyoming.

I don't know what to say, A close friend of mine disappeared in Texas two years ago but up to now nothing has ever happened.There was overwhelming evidence that he was murdered by wife ( white) . There was traces of blood in their apartment .Up to know we have never found the body. She got the guts to tell us that at one point this guy was deported to kenya and went after him. The state of Texas is not helpful to solve this case.,The attorneys are advising us to involve a private investigator which is really expensive. I'm praying for the family..
