I know it’s not all been rainbows & unicorn farts, but it’s so clear to me that your sweet girl is learning more independence through this trip…like working out how to swing on the door handle to get into the camper🤣it may not have been the most ideal way to get in, & if she does it often enough, probably another thing that will eventually need fixing Asa, but she got inside, all on her own!! Just 1 example, but I’ve seen Ab do a lot of things on this trip so far that I haven’t seen her do/didn’t think she was able to do!! So awesome!!!

Cilla said it all and honest. When she goes to long not having family and friends around and that extra help that is needed it's hard. There is no alone time when there is not someone to help, or even if it's to go out to dinner alone. Everyone needs a break. Your both doing fantastic.

Went to Glacier Park in 1979 and again in 1983 on a motorcycle road trip with my husband and sister and brother inlaw. Didn't need reservations back then. We had the run of the park. Did the Crypt Lake hike and didn't see a single person the whole way up and back down. All we saw was a grizzly bear across the lake from us. I can't believe how crowded it is now.

@kwaktak2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to see that the Maass Posse is growing for this section of the trip. I can relate to the feelings of isolation. I bet Ab was feeling that way too. I can't wait to see the extended clips with Yellowstone and Glacier. Too bad you're not doing Yosemite or Tahoe this time but they got fires so better to be safe. I'll be going there in a little over a month to visit family and I'm hoping to get a little hiking in. Meanwhile, our autistic son has actually expressed a desire to go on vacation too (to Florida) but we're not able to accommodate him for good reasons. All he really wants is a pool though so I think we need to make up some way for him to have a "staycation" and maybe set up his own little backyard bungalo.

I’m from Philly (born and raised) and I think Isaiah is talking about the reading terminal market. It’s not underground, it’s an old railroad building. And only tourist cheese steak spots here in Philly put cheese sauce on their sandwich. Regular cheese from the deli is fine.

She's so vocal lately before they got there when she was having trouble. I saw a girl so close to learning to communicate. I believe sometimes when she's vocal she is trying to figure out her own mouth and how to talk. I think spending time with speech again she could maybe doing it... I think she may talk in her own tones one day. I clearly hear her say no or noooo sometimes.
