ML : Zhang Yilun FL : Liu Lange I love the ML. he is bad and he owns it. he is not bad - minion from hell, he needs to die so we can restore world peace bad, but he is no goody two shoes either. I love when his friend said , she''s 19, you're a beast and he simply answered I am. That "say it loud, say it proud" moment of his made me hook into this drama!! I am only 10 mins in but I am enjoying this so much. ok so. I have never seen Zhang Yilun in this role ever - and I have seen a lot of his dramas!! I must say, I never thought I need to see him in a dark themed ML role but he plays it so well. This is a very well written character. He is running for sainthood, but then again he never professed that he wanted to, He is unapologetically bad and he owns it. I like that thought he categorically is thought of as a bad person, he at least shows that he has standards that he follows along which is also very simple - no one makes his little wifey unhappy. period. I like that when he rushes in to the rescue, he doesn't waste time talking the head off whomever was making the FL unhappy. He always is zoomed in on his wife as soon as he goes through the door. I live for this kind of ML. They way he rushes in make sure the FL is okay. And the ways he spoils her so she can spread her wings and fly. Though his every action is for and to support his girl, he never lost himself. He is still him. I like the FL''s character. A lot may not see her as strong but understanding that she pretty much was brainwashed by her mom to be a certain way to be thought of as a proper lady, I like that she still has enough fight in her to go against the mold and not just nod and follow like a blind man. She took that first step to leave her home so she doesn''t suffocate to death and that takes courage - especially after all the "training"" she went through with her mom. I like how her hesitancy at the beginning was only because she was not sure if the person was the uncle her friend mentioned or not. She has never been afraid of the ML. I guess his roughness gave her enough security that she never thought of it as something negative like the people around them did. Together their characters makes so much contrast its amazing how they both work. I want more of these type of characters - especially the ML... im done with the scumbags... This type of bad ML I can live with!!

Amazing drama what broke my heart is how a mother can treat her daughter in such manner even kidnap and attempt gang rape,share her depression report online all this coz she ran away from being forced into marriage fr her she is a tool to keep her family status im happy she fought fr her freedom from the start. 1.ml loved her fr years and he is very protective of her he can even shoot dead anyone that dares to harm the fl thats what happened to the mom and the forced fiancee towards the end. 2.we love a bold fl she fell fast,cleared doubts by herself, midway after she confirmed her feelings she confessed to him luckily its hidden love fr the ml. 3.fr once the fl though blackmailed by her evil mother it didn't go thru the ml stepped in before she got to the airport and took her back.i wanted to see her severe ties completely with her family that is willing to sell her off. I didn't know the Buddha beads had a meaning im glad i got to learn

Spoilers: FL has horrible family that she doesn't seem to be able to abandon but she did in the end when they took things to the extreme (typical kidnapping plot) ML had his eyes on the FL from the start (childhood plot), always appears in a nick of time (teleport plot), always protecting FL and restraining himself Infront of the FL (sweet love plot). Many kisses! 💋 Happy ending! 🎉 4.5/5 due to personal preference (the family and 2FL is too annoying)
