@tsion3267 you can but it's not my type of movie. This is a spoiler.... There was a guy who helped her when her parents died and he had continued to help her throughout her life. He never did her wrong and I'm not sure when he had met her and he wasn't really in her life to the point it's called grooming (I don't think). But she still fell in love with a married father. Which is weird af to me. These movies where they focus more on the romantic partners than the love of their own child is weird to me. Because the married guy died for her knowing that he was going to leave his child with his crazy wife.

So glad I watched this recap. I wanted to watch this show for years, but sudden reviews made me scared the script would be horrible. After seeing this, I don't really understand the criticism of the revenge plot. Justice was served regardless of her developing complicated feelings for the ML, not everything needs to be black and white to be good.

It's funny with these revenge type Korean drama. It always just so happens that the girl who wanted to take revenge on this mega rich family grew up looking incredibly gorgeous. He was a lawyer and I don't think he was close enough to groom her 2. There was no intent on both sides to fall in love or be intimately interested in each other. She was a child to him and he was an adult to her. They spend years apart and she returns as an adult. Is she allowed to fall in love with someone who was sympathetic with her in her childhood? 3. If they are both adults, are they allowed to choose to love each other? 4. Who are we to them and their journey?

I don’t usually comment on these. This drama evokes intense feelings of illicit desire that every human has had at least once (even intrusively). I don’t condone cheating or revenge on any level but watch the actual show and you’ll appreciate the director’s work. The show fulfills its full purpose and potential. After watching Hollywood until the plots became cliches, Eve was refreshing. I can’t remember the last time I watched a show and remembered it years after with emotions still fresh like I finished the last episode yesterday.

A mixture of intense emotions. Thank you for the recap because I really could not go through the whole series. You feel the anger and pain of the injustice. You also feel the conflict of falling in love with your enemy. Which as it happened, he was not her enemy and he knew nothing of what happened to her family, it was his father and father-in-law. When he did find out what happened to the female leads family, the only thing he could do was end his life.
