I kinda feel bad for the duke. Man seems to basically have done nothing wrong and can’t understand why the person who he loved and loved him suddenly ran off with their kid and says she hates him. It’s pretty obvious the Queen is the one who actually tried to have the FMC killed. But she just seems to refuse to communicate with anyone. Very frustrating.

He also knows that the queen is against him being with another woman as she has been going after him relentlessly for 6 years or so, which i think he knows a lot about how psychotic the queen can be as he is constantly getting in her way of her plans, as well as rescuing the female lead when things get dicey. Its just the the queen of the story is a (insert colourful statements about her personality), and (insert colourful statements about her emotional and academic intelligence). 🙂

Curt 1 word answers. Make it CLEAR you want 0 association. Do not even let him touch you. And from the dukes PoV to the Queen the correct answer is "do not test the dukedoms loyalty. It Is only natural to respond when provoked"
