When the mind is uncertain about something and still wishes to continue the conversation, it should either share its confusion or be prepared to identify and ask the question about which causes the confusion. In my understanding, this approach to communication leads to clarity. Otherwise, there is always a battle between what you want to say and what others want to say. An accepting and rejecting attitude based on one's own confuse state of mind prevents one from facing the facts.
