What a horrible thing to do to a vulnerable person. I once worked for an old lady who's husband had recently passed. She was a different generation, a ''kept woman'' she had never paid a bill in her life and was utterly clueless. She didn't even know council tax / property tax was a thing. I can very much see how the lady in this video would have felt she had her independence taken away.

Yeah the old generation had the husband as the protector provider and the wife as the nurturer. Would happen quite often I think.
