I can't believe how big Delilah is 😍 my babies are tiny compared! My eldest who is 16 month is in 9-12/12-18 (depending on shop) and my 4 month old is in 0-3 still! Xx

It's perfect leaving work lately when it's light outside! I had an early finish today so I left when it was light and got home whilst it was still light too! Loved it!! Also can't believe Delilah rolled over for first time and on camera too! She's so cute! 💞💞 and yeah don't worry baby's make those noises because they're excited about food haha😂😂

My son is almost 2 and he always has been making that high pitched noise when he eats too, i personally think hes just excited to eat. If she was allergic i wouldnt think she would look so happy. Always follow your own instincts though - but my son makes the same noise :D

+Carmen she was in her Moses basket next to us until she was about 8 weeks, she then moved to her crib next to our bed and at 6 months she's moved into her own room into her big cot x

I feel your pain with a) having a big baby! my little lady is a 91st centile baby for weight and 98th centile for height and we always struggle with clothes in her size fitting her for long enough!! and also the sshhhhh app! we're trying to get her to sleep through the night and it's so challenging, the white noise apps have been a life saver!!!

it's so weird to see the sizing you guys have for baby's over there! here in Aus we have the sizes (generally i think) 00000 - 0 (00000 being the smallest and 0 being the largest, and then as the sizes get bigger the numbers go up as usual (1,2,3,4 etc) it just seems funky to me that you've got sizes in age groups! 😂

Aw I'm glad you guys are getting a better nights sleep! I do have to say that Delilah wasn't using you as a dummy, a dummy is a replacement for the comfort suckling at the breast gives. Although it's hard her frequent night waking was completely normal baby behaviour. Breastmilk is higher fat at night which is essential for brain development which is why they go through phases of waking more at night as they are learning new things. You seem to have found a gentle way to encourage Delilah to sleep more at night, it's refreshing that you didn't resort to letting her cry it out. My two and a half year old bed shares with us and breastfeeds through the night 😊 have you looked into natural term weaning? It's a lovely thing to do for your child, it's basically allowing your child to naturally wean from the breast wheb they are physically and emotionally ready. It's interesting to note that the world average for a child weaning from the breast is between 2 and 7 years! Such a shame the breastfeeding rates are so incredibly low in this country.
