Sia s voice is so unique, you can feel every emotion in her voice , she takes you on the journey with her , not many singers can do that , I love her ❤ great reaction ... this song means so much to me on a personal level 💗 oh and I love your cat 🐈 😊

Sia is a true mezzo, spanning 3 octaves up to C5 with no fault (live performance, not studio fake doping). She sings very close to the mic, which enhances the feeling of power, but leaves no room for error. To the best of my knowledge, her live performances are unmatched in the non lyric world. The best female pop singers with comparable live vocal range are scarce (e.g. Aretha Franklin). My colleagues of the choral section at the Conservatory claim Sia has unacademic cracks in the high C range. Maybe that's what makes her special ? I leave this to your thoughts. On my side, I just modesly blow in the clarinet with my students. We currently fight with K627 adagio.

"All I can afford is expensive Fiji born water" lmao Love it man she has a voice like NO other its crazy... on the shuffle usually day to day, once she comes on... its such a treat man. God damn, feel so bad for Sia's past as to WHY she covers her face, but still delivers like no other.... man hearing chandelier and elastic heart gives me goosebumps to this day.

Jovany, you didn't mention that this song was about the time when Sia was sexually abuse. I love this song and watch the video sooo many times. But to me is a bit sad because of the story behind. Sia's voice, with all those breaks she does, is like... music to my ears.
@JovanyYdp3 жыл бұрын
I didn't know about that, that's crazy
@fernandof.22253 жыл бұрын
@@JovanyYdp the "1,2,3, drink" seems to be factual. She probably was drinking trying to numb the experience. The "I feel the love" probably was the abuse. "Fly like a bird through the night" is about thinking about anything else but what was going on. "won't open my eyes"... obviously.

@@fernandof.2225 This song is about alcohol and pills addiction, not about any sexual abuse. And she beacame addict after her boyfriend died and she started to sing live with a band named Crisp
@fernandof.22253 жыл бұрын
@@lovers_cult people drink and do drugs after having bad childhoods. If I'm correct I read the sexual abuse somewhere. It made perfect sense. If you trust Wikipedia check this (Personal Life section). Abused at 9 years old en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sia_(musician)

@@fernandof.2225 I know very well Sia's history, I am an old fan. She literally mentioned with no context, in a recent interview, about being sexually abused, and some people ate that info with a sick apettite. Meanwhile, there are tons of interviews and stories about Chandelier and about her alcohol addiction and her more more recent traumas, as an adult. I know you guys love to link everything on sexual abuse but this is not the case. her story is more complex than that and saying she wrote Chandelier because she was sexually abused is simplistic and inaccurate.
