Fun fact: Between the episode "The Nemesis" and "The Bus" 26 episodes passed, which gives rise to my theory that Rob was planning to make the bus plan ever since he successuly "defeated" Gumball and Darwin at the end of The Nemesis, taking in consideration obviously how calculated this plan really is. This is also why in the episode "The Love" we see him for a few seconds singing along with the rest of the crew, he was probably there to suggest the plan to principal brown and just happened to be there when they were singing and you know he just wanted to be a part of it lol
