When I’ll be a mother, If I’ll ever be one, almost everyone will be accepting of lgbt on the internet and in most 1st world countries IRL. I live in a very homophobic country though, so I will make sure my children know I support and am part of the lgbtq community. I don’t want them to feel like they’re not being listened to, feel like I don’t accept or love them or feel like they need to change. Honestly my child could be a murderer and I would just like tell them “stop” and lock them in their room for like a few weeks.

My Dad is the most supportive dad I could've ever had in different realitys. He takes me to pride, he pays for me and my boyfriend's dates unless he wants to pay, he even DIVORCED the love of his life ( my mother ) because she didn't support and he found out she called me slurs and by my non preferred pronouns and dead name. He Is honestly an amazing father that every other father should be like. He is the example of a good father. Before my parents divorced, he would make " special " nights for me and my boyfriend. ( like going out to eat, and doing any fun events. And he would pay ) it has been three years since he left this earth, a kind soul he was. Me and my boyfriend are still together, he makes time to go with me to visit his grave. My father figure, ( my dad's little brother ) is just like him. But, he's a little more self centered. But that doesn't stop him from being the best man he can be.

@@lifeisapain2284 It’s a parents job to support and love their child as long as it’s healthy, not harming themselves or others, and will give them a happy life In the case of coming out, it’s not about coddling and protecting the parents, it’s about the child expressing themselves and wanting to show who they are to their guardians So don’t blame the internet, blame the parents that think they can get away with terrible things and frame it as “discipline” when it’s really a hate crime. Most parents have probably gone through 4x worse, and they still lose it over a queer reveal

This reminds me of a time when I was in 5th grade I went to a catholic school it was my first year there and I was really scared to go cause I'm pansexual, but I finally brought the courage to ask one of the adults watching us during recess and she said "It could be normal for some people and weird or different for others but that doesn't mean it's bad, for example lets say I like chocolate and you like vanilla I don't like vanilla that doesn't mean its bad." SHE EXPLAINED IT SO WELL- I was shocked.

This just started to make me cry, because this happened to me and it makes me happy that some parents are so accepting to their children. This happened with me when I told my parents that I was bi, but they said “ for right now I think you are too young to assume your sexuality, but when your older and you are bi, we will support, even if we never really understand why we will support you, because you are our daughter, and we love you too the moon and back” I’m currently 12 years old and this happened last year, and can remember it like the back of my hand. I just wanna say we need more parents in this world to support their children. Reminder that you should never out someone to anyone! If they’re still in the closet to someone, it’s up to them to decide when/if they want to come out to that person. They may ask you to tell the other person, that’s the only time when it’s okay to do this! If this situation would happen in real life, I doubt the trans sister would actually be happy about it, she should’ve been the one to decide how, when and if she wanted to come out to one of the most important people in her life, and by outing her, her sister just took that away from her.

She is beauty. She is grace. I don’t care what haters say! I wish people could be more open minded that you can make a choice of your own.. you don’t need the consent to be a lady nor a man. You can be whatever you want.
