From a very very very long time fan, I’d say sell the egg. You seem (no hate at all in this) from an outside perspective quite stressed with KZbin in general at the moment, video performance etc. The main thing I’d say is that if selling the egg will allow you to create content without any stresses of having to hit view targets etc then I’d go for it 100% and don’t look back. You deserve to be where you are and deserve everything you have, as a true fan I’d much rather lose content on the koenigsegg and see you happy and content with the videos you are pushing out how and when you want, without feeling constantly stressed and like it’s a chore to hit view counts. Your an OG and truly at the top of your game now, you should be able to enjoy what you do want and enjoy ur life with ur girlfriend without constant pressure to meet those quite frankly absurd monthly payments. This is all coming from someone with ur best interests at heart. And I know me and most ur fans will watch u regardless of the pricetag of ur garage. Keep going boy ❤️

Becoming debt-free isn't a goal for many wealthy people. Typically your borrowed money is at a lower interest rate than market return. Musicians don't make money because of music. The vast majority of their money comes from merch. You don't push your merch nearly enough, it's pretty stale, the purple army is over. Revamp your whole store, instead of the monthly giveaway like everyone else, do what cleetus does, 1 giveaway every quarter. A lot of KZbinrs also have a patreon and with your financial background, you could start one and make this exact video the focus of it, while also showing behind the scenes, just turn your second channel into your patreon. Relying on KZbin, other social media, and your ad reads, is foolish.
@troyandrade4353 күн бұрын
Cleetus' merch is top notch. All together, my household has like 20 shirts across 5 people, even my mother, we have stickers, a couple hats, Cleet's PPV subscription for his races, etc. If Strad even does half of that, I'm sure he would not need to sell the Agera. Unfortunately, as of now though, selling it is the wisest decision.

Merch and patreon are terrible ways to make money as a KZbinr. Maybe at his scale they would work better, but it'd be much easier to just sell some kind of ticket to a crazy ass private car meet or something. Sell the Egg, sell the Countach, pay off the Steratto, make a big payment on the house and let that be your primary “asset.” Keep the other cars, pair down modifications to the vehicles and do more traveling/adventures with the cars for content. Money spent on modifications is typically not made back upon sale, and often comes with labor installation costs and could end bad like the shop in Chicago. Traveling/adventures would have more variable costs that you could, hopefully, control. And like Strad Pizza, create new or look for investment opportunities into businesses that could help bring in extra money on a monthly basis to get your allowance up. If things are causing your lots of stress, pay off that house. Limit as much monthly expenses as you can until you have everything paid off and then start the whole cycle again. Buy cars and businesses to grow the channel and entertain. If things get bad, you have a house that’s paid for (and could sell and downsize if need be) and the cars to offload to secure cash because you own everything. Sounds somewhat simple, the hard part is doing it all. We’re here to watch regardless

As everyone seems to be saying, I have to agree to sell the Koenigsegg. It unfortunately doesnt make sense from a financial standpoint. Use SOME of the sale proceedings to pay off the house. I know alot of people are saying to pay the house outright but I honesty believe you can make a better ROI from using the cash to make videos, builds etc. The ROI will be far greater than the interest on the mortgage so it makes sense to save some of the money from the sale. Not to mention selling the Countach will lower your montly expenses. Doing this will allow to keep most of your cars allowing to make alot more content, than simply a video from time to time on the Koenigsegg. Im happy and here for your success. With thag being said id say it time to sell the Egg. That is a massive monthly amount on your shoulders and the stress will drive you bonkers! I know there are some tax benefits to it, but right now it isnt worth it. Its a cool car but its not really relatable to the masses. Sell it and make a few bucks off it because we all know there is a buyer waiting for it anytime you want to offload it. Sell the countach and payoff the sterrato and with the cash left over put it into savings or another project car. With the savings of no car payments you could put a big dent into the house or finish up the houses batcave. Also time to revamp the merch store. That is one area you could definitely see some growth and money come in with some new merch for us to buy! Hopefully Strad Pizza opens and starts paying for itself so thatll ease up your burden some as well.

The "offroad" Lambo is still at his brothers house? I wish he would do videos racing in the dirt, but i think we will get some "strad pizza" soon that nobody outside of the US will ever get. I mostly watch the channel for James, Sophia and MrOscar.... claiton/fait (sorry for the wrong spelling) and baby Burlacher....the house updates are also fun to watch, but the HH? I dont care at all.... edit: sure... i complain about the green offroad lambo in this posting, press send... press play again and 5 seconds later he starts to open the door and the lambo is there...

100% agree. I don't give a single shit about 'hypercars.' I'm never going to be able to afford one, so I don't even bother looking at them. I made a post like this as well. For me the 'sweet spot' is cars under $100k - cars that I could potentially own someday. That's what gets me excited, not 7-figure cars.
@MarcAdamsDev3 күн бұрын
That is an eye watering amount of money. Especially for someone who I think is pretty frugal outside of your car purchases. From a business perspective the Koenigsegg makes no sense whatsoever. Unless you can come up with a novel way to monetize it without destroying it. I absolutely love Koneigsegg's and if I were to come into money, it would be the first car I'd buy. But over $30K a month just isn't worth it. Think about how much money you could be generating with that every month, and then you could buy one in a couple of years. So, I'd sell it, and the Countach and pay off your house. That would free up a lot of capital for more purchases or mods/builds to grow the channel. Still excited to see the Supra vs. BMW content. I think you know what the right thing to do is, but the heart wants what the heart wants. I'm extremely impressed that 60k+ per month hasn't ruined you. That speaks volumes.

Drive over to Park City to visit Clayton or drive to one of many of the national parks you like in the middle of. Strad - as a fellow young guy focused on establishing his footing in society, I firstly want to give a sincere thank you for another extremely transparent video to all of us. It does so much good to not only me, but others who may have not had a lot of financial training in their upbringing. That out of the way, I think personally, where you ought to focus first is paying off the house. So much time and money was invested in this custom youtube-focused house so it could eventually serve as the breeding ground for your content. Without a house you feel comfortable creating content in from all aspects, I think you will find everything else will suffer. This house you've created checks so many boxes for your brand, so I don't think selling it is the right move at least right now. Additionally, I question the necessity of having a rental in Arizona as you seemingly have as well. Almost $2,800 a month towards something that provides little value at the moment, I agree, is debatable. I vote you let that house go and focus on the Utah house. Think about how great it would be to officially own a place like that. It would also eliminate the "necessity" to move for a LONG time for any reason - that would become a want at that point. This brings me to the Koenigsegg. Listen. It's a great car, and I too love it. I also love what it represents for you, and what it brings for you as far as enjoyment. This presents a conflict in recognizing that it truly is a one-of-a-kind car and the opportunity to own it may never arrive again. That said, there are other Koenigsegg's out there... I think I have to vote letting the Koenigsegg go for the time being and maybe focusing on less expensive (but still very obviously awesome) super/hyper car builds and buys at the moment. I think you'd be doing yourself a massive favor building that financial foundation now incase of any sort of surprises in the future. God forbid something happens with the channel, then how are you going to make all these payments? You will always need a place to sleep first before a car, let alone 16 of them haha. Hopefully that makes sense and isn't insensitive. Just trying to help paint perspective. You are in such a good problem to solve, and I think you have what you need to solve it. It just may be uncomfortable up front. I don't think it needs to be a forever sacrifice, however :). Cheers mate

Everyone saying to sell the Koenigsegg. That car is James dream car, a car that is so exclusive, it really is a once in a lifetime to own it. Yea it may not make much sense for the business, but at the end of the day if that car brings you joy don't get rid of it because it gets no views. Another example would be Damon from DDE. He has the Senna, which doesn't get a lot of views, but that is a car that gives such a special next level experience that a modded supercar just won't. If I was to say don't sell the Egg, just do more fun stuff with it, take it on trips, which yes isn't the smartest idea, because the car will depreciate in value, but if you would keep it forever why would that matter.
@mexicanspec3 күн бұрын
True, but if he gets sick and can't do videos, he is done for. $35,000 per month as a payment on that car is undoable. A car like that you buy when you can pay cash for it and it won't hurt your bank account. that is why they call it a dream car.
@danjelhysenaj48593 күн бұрын
Senna vs Koenigsegg is totally two different Worlds in terms of price and beauty. You can't even compare them to be honest, even James mentioned that he can't even drive it due to its value and security. I understand that he had his dream to own a Koenigsegg but now that he has achieved it, he could move to its next goal. No one will judge him for selling it and putting it as a downpayment into the house. I would rather keep Lamborghini Cuntash since its value is just sky-rocketing which makes more sense for him to hold it.

Then with that money pay off the sterrato. Then try to save the remaining till when interest rates drop. Then re finance the house.
