We have 2 lovely exorcism games to choose from. I love all 3 games (Phas, GHC and Obsideo). They all scratch different itches in the same genre and I love how much scarier Phas is getting with more to come

adding an exorcism as part of the hunt sounds fun, but you realize it would mean more gear and likely all ghosts having a different method given backgrounds. for example maybe for a wraith you have to lock it into its room/spot then use holy water when its visible, meanwhile for a jinn you have to keep the generator/all electronics off for a certain amount of time. We have all had those long matches where the ghost just won't co-operate and give a clue, adding a whole extra phase to the match would drag on substantially or hell accidental exorcism before you know what it is through dumb luck. (TL;DR exorcism sounds fun on paper, but a match would never end.)

Agreed, it seems like it would be an absolute blast, but I'm pretty sure the whole point of Phasmophobia was being the GHOST HUNTERS and checking to see if the claims of a ghost in varying places are actually true. Im pretty sure thats kinda what Phasmo was supposed to be, just us being the people to check and make sure we wont waste any exorcists time. But honestly it is a cool idea to have the ghost ai react to more specific things, like you said with a jinn, maybe when you turn off electronics not only would its ability be unusable but maybe it does things that comes off as a more pissed off aggressive ghost. Maybe making noises or loud thuds, and even when its hunting itll doors it opens will make a slamming open sound, and this can also be for when its not hunting. Sorry this is long, Phasmo just allows so many ideas to come up with and imagine! :,)

Here is a pro tip for phasmo: if you hear any items thrown on the floor, bring an EMF reader and point it at the item that was touched by the ghost. If the Emf reader goes off, then take a picture of that item for extra money. If you hear a door open, bring the UV light to that door and also the emf reader. Anything that the ghost touches will activate the EMF and you can also take pictures of anything that the ghost touches. The photo camera is a very good item for getting loads of money. The EMF reader does not only go off next to the ghost, it only works on items that the ghost touched like doors and thrown stuff, or if you are in the ghost room it will go off. Always take pictures of the voodoo doll, and ouija board and other items like cards, cursed mirror, and fingerprints on doors or floor (only if the ghost walks through salt)

@IcyCaress no confirmed deaths anyways from a video game scarring people to death. there’s epilepsy which has killed people. and scarring people to death IRL does actually happen and some states consider it to be FELONY MURDER to do so. generally it’s treated as manslaughter though. so theoretically it’s absolutely possible for a video game to scare someone to death.
