My cousin had been through a similar situation, many years ago. Everyone warned her about him but she loved him. Sometimes you have to wait it out like her dad did, as frustrating as it is, and when the time is right you are there for them because it's family, you love them and you have their back at all times. He got arrested, went to prison and she moved away to start a new life.
