This movie actually looks better in Black and White, the color makes it look more low budget than the film actually was

Spike Lee’s very first film. She’s Gotta Have It! (1986) was an extremely low budget film but it was an actually good movie.

" 50 dollar sneakers and i got no job, tell me how you do it when times are hard"😂😂😂 I can't believe Spike was 29 yrs old....he looked like 21.

A lot of computer technologies and software make colorizing black and white films as easy as riding a bike

Tracy Camilla Johns was very pretty, but she wasn't too keen on acting. No wonder this movie and New Jack City were the only movies she ever did.
@indigoldd2 ай бұрын
She actually really wanted to act but had extreme difficulty getting roles, part of which sent her on a downward spiral. She came to Christ in the early 90s and permanently abandoned the industry.

That was the idea. They wanted to portray him as arrogant.
