I don't know why but the fact that six cars paid that forward honestly made me cry. It really does only take one person. I know you have made me think about being a little more giving, and I thank you for that. :)

I got to give a couple bags of dog food I didn’t need to a homeless man and his pup the other day and it literally made my day! I was on my way somewhere else but luckily had just enough time to swing into a parking lot close to the corner they were standing on, a first the pup was protective of her owner but when she smelled the food I handed him she got so excited! The mans attitude of genuine appreciation and thankfulness just does the heart good. For him and me both! #maasssquadcares

I love that you guys paid for the car behind you, that’s such a selfless and caring act!! Other people should most definitely look up to you guys and go by your example!! My parents spend a big part of their life teaching my siblings and I and how to be selfless and if you have the money to pay for things for the person before or behind you, because you never know in what (financial) situation the people around you are, and I am so grateful for having parents that took the time to teach us such things!

Edit: Seeing the part in the video about paying for someone else is amazing! i wish there were more good people in the world like yall! we have a similar drive through light show like that near me but its $35 on non prime days and $45 on prime days... and being a broke family we just cant spend that kind of money. it was great watching this video and getting a somewhat experience of what it might be like

kassidie perdue it's such a shame to charge people for Christmas Light Displays to me it feels like a mockery of the season. We too have displays that charge but they are places that charge for any display (ie: Longwood Gardens in Longwood, Pennsylvania) but we have an absolutely beautiful and amazing display of Christmas Lights that are and as far as I know always have been completely free and they started doing this almost 30 years ago. I'm trying to find the best "address" to go to for the best video and hoping to pass it along to the whole "Fathering Autism" crew (if that's allowed) so keep an eye out on this video's comments if allowed it'll be under MamaKitty0630 I'm presently not on my own phone.

I speak for me but I’m sure many others will agree, it doesn’t feel like taking time out of the day to watch you all, you are the KZbin channel I talk most about. I am autistic as well as having multiple other conditions including an eating disorder but seeing Abbie happy really brightens my day and reminds me why I loved helping my additional support department when I was at high school and hope to do more in the future. As for King, if you read these comments you are an amazing guy, keep fighting, I’m thinking about you :)

I am blown away by how much she's grown and improved since I started watching! I know there are times when you're exhausted, but you guys (Asa, Priscilla, and Isaiah all of you!) are so, so good with her. It makes me feel good to know there are parents like you! Edit: my family and I volunteer at the local animal shelter. We talk about it as much as we can, to bring attention to the shelter and to let people know that volunteering there is an option! Several times people didn't realize it was even an option, and so we talk about ways people can get involved and help their community! #maassquadcares

Hi just got turned to this channel and wanted to introduce myself and hearing kings shout out gave me a bit of courage to do it as i can be shy... I'm 32 and was diagnosed with Asperger's at 15 and diagnosed with Chronic Migraines in my mid 20s as well as other issues, due to mental/physical health and other issues I live with my mum still. Four years ago we lost my dad's mum to bone cancer and pneumonia and earlier this year my mum's mum was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. This year has been the hardest yet for us as we also lost my dad at the end of November to septic shock due to a UTI, he had also been living with familial spastic parapalegia for about 12 years or so and had to be placed in a nursing home 6 years ago as our health wouldnt let us tend his needs. Please just keep us in your prayers if you can. Thanks!

My nephew has autism and is very, very OCD. He is always moving things to where he thinks they belong. He visits us and moves things all over the place because I guess the way I have them doesn’t feel right to him. I have diagnosed OCD myself so it drives me nuts and I end up getting angry because it messes w my OCD for him to move things, but I slow myself down and tell myself “he just cannot help himself”. I know how awful it is to have obsessions and kids with autism probably have an even harder time stopping themselves from doing them. He also hates having things on the table near him and pushes them away. It seems behavioral but it really isn’t at all. They just feel compelled. Thank you for this reminder. I love that you paid for the people behind you in the line. I love doing things like that!!!

Giving with a sincere heart, as your family does........because you care........is exactly what God commands us to do. There are people who don't feel loved. There are so many with constant serious struggles & challenges who feel like it's an uphill struggle all the time. They feel alone in their struggles. Giving people make them realize that they are indeed cared about & they're definitely not alone.

I love Abby’s little grin, she’s adorable. I think what you do, say, share is absolutely amazing. I don’t have an autistic child and came across your channel about 7/8 months ago by accident ( a fantastic accident by the way ) I watched 1 video and subscribe straight away, I was hooked on your channel. Thanks to you and your wonderful amazing family I have learnt so much about autism and the things that other families with an autistic child can do, what help they can get etc. It needed a family like yours who have gone through all the struggles and doors slamming on you and being told no you can’t have that, no we don’t offer that right at the beginning of Abby’s life but you were having none of it and fort for her rights, because of you other family’s who have an autistic child will not have to struggle alone or feel they have no idea where to get help, I truly don’t think you fully understand just how much help you have actually given to other family’s. You are an amazing family and I will be watching your channel right to the end. Thank you for teaching me about autism, you have made me a far better person in understanding some of the issues that you face daily. Have a fantastic Christmas guys. 💝 xxxx

@esthermiller27136 жыл бұрын
Your talking about appreciation compels me to tell you that I myself so appreciate your willingness to share just a snippet of what your life is like........because I've always had an interest in finding out, in an unobtrusive way, how autism affects a person......& consequently a family. About twenty years ago close friends had their first child,......a beautiful baby girl, who they named Cassidy. At the age when babies are learning to walk, Cassidy wasn't showing any sign of trying. She also wasn't trying to say words. She did eventually do both,.....but was very late in doing so. I'm sure you've guessed.....yes......Cassidy was diagnosed with autism. Her condition didn't reach the severity that your daughter's did. I enjoy the proud look on Abigail's face, that looks like she knows she accomplished something. I feel happy for her as she obeys & is successful doing something good. She is such a treasure! It's extremely important that she understands that she's super important & highly valued! But I'm definitely not telling you something you don't already know! God trusted YOU, her loving caring parents, with this sweet precious girl! You are so very blessed to have God entrust YOU with her! God knew you were the EXACT RIGHT parents for her! Abigail, as an important valued member of society, deserves to be treated with respect at all times, & be given every right that everyone else has. Why can't EVERYONE see her this way??!! I'm so sorry that she is forced to tolerate the starers in public. If I could hug her, I would.

I love paying it forward and do it as often as I can. Recently my mom stopped at Burger King drive thru to grab my brother some food and the person in the car in front of her had paid for her meal. She thought it was so cool and told my 86 year old grandfather....who...clearly did not get the concept of this as a nice thing. Some things grandpa said: "But why would someone do that?" To be nice grandpa "I wouldn't trust that, that doesn't sound right. Id of asked some questions if I were you" no grandpa it's just a random act of kindness, people do this all the time "I wouldn't let them pay for my stuff. That's crazy. Something isn't right there. Id pay anyway" well grandpa you could just pay it forward and pay for the person behind you, "why would I do that?for all I know they have a $100 order. Plus they would think I was nuts, probably be scared I was gonna follow them home. " *tears all my hair out* yes grandpa the world is evil and everyone is out to get you.... And before anyone asks, he's not senile....he just likes to make me absolutely crazy. It delights him lol you should see our political discussions. One time me and my husband(boyfriend at the time we were maybe 20) were visiting my grandpa and there's a knock on the door. He goes to answer it and it's some sweet blonde young woman who tells him she is running for house of representatives in his area and she's a Democrat and he goes "oh, your a Democrat? Don't worry you'll grow out of it" and shuts the door. My husband was laughing from shock so hard and my grandpa comes into the room with this glimmer of mischievousness in his eye and a smile. I love him to pieces but he is going to drive me to the brink of insanity

You both are so amazingly patient and consistent. This is so very hard to do day in and day out. You both are such an inspiration and it’s the effort that you both put in to Abby that she does so well for having such extreme autism. It breaks up so many marriages and the child with autism is the biggest casualty of this. It takes a whole family team to raise a child with autism.

Brenda there is nothing wrong with posting a good deed. To each his own. A lady in Baltimore city got stabbed last week because she rolled down her window and handed a homeless mom some cash then a guy walked over and stabbed her and killed her. It won’t stop people from giving either. I give all year round too a lot and sometimes I tell people and sometimes I don’t. I would never tell someone they shouldn’t post a nice deed. And the way people are so down on eachother is truly disgusting. I find the good deed stories a better read than all the nasty political junk anyway. I love happy stories. And when people are nice and sweet I talk about it and share with others. It’s not to stick it in someone’s face or to get others to do the same. It’s just sharing beautiful stories. We need more of these stories. Why would u come on here and put down their happiness.
@bfunnygirl219346 жыл бұрын
Organized Minimalist Like you said to each their own. And what do you mean put down THIER happiness? I’m not even talking about anyone in particular. I was just saying i disagree about posting it. Which i can say that about myself. Please don’t put words in my mouth or assume anything. It’s not right. ty.
@samiog56956 жыл бұрын
I think people posting good deeds will encourage others to do it.....it spreads awareness in a way. Post or don’t post neither is wrong
