The True Beauty of 70's and 80's Rock (and even Disco) is, All lines were Blurred. Color wasn't a Factor, neither was Sexual Preference and Songs Celebrated Empowering Women. A Black man could be listening to Kenny Rogers and not get a Stink Eye from his friends and a White man can be Rocking to Rick James without being called a Poser. For All of today's "Advancements", We've become more judgmental of others and our Differences have never been so much a factor in our lives. YES, we DID have problems we worked out, but it's because we could take a joke and pointing out a persons Differences didn't mean as much.
