Aurora is the quirkiest, oddest in the best way kind of artist! I love how "alternative" she is to the mainstream. The yodeling like singing towards the end could be called kulning, or "calling the cows". Very interesting technique originating from Scandinavia, so possibly quite native to her. I hope you do check out more from Aurora. Her interviews are humorous & entertaining too. Enjoyed your reaction as always! See ya on the next one 🙂

Fantastic reaction, Kaireem! I really loved your "alternative" take. I don't think anyone will disagree with you there (including Aurora herself). Aurora's greatest superpower is her freedom to be herself and her complete lack of shame. She does what she wants (while respecting others), and if you love it great, and if you don't, that's fine too. Yeah, she's very different. Her live Vevo performance of "Exhale Inhale" will blow your mind!

I LOVE watching people discover Aurora. I do hope you continue as you will not be disappointed. Runaway was the first time I had heard of Aurora 5 years ago and went down the rabbit hole in chronological order and I am so glad I did. I was able to watch her grow as an artist and it is such a pleasure to see her today having so much fun unlike the challenging beginnings. Amazing Artist and stunning live performance. And I agree about alternative - and it is positive as this means she is more original. She uses different sounds, sometimes you can say it is pop or arty pop too but she is still very unique in this what she do. Some people even say she does Aurora genre:). Ps. For sure it is worth to check more (much more) from this incredible Artist:).

Norse singing is called Kulning. She is quite mesmerizing and fascinating. I've been enjoying listening to music from around the world, KZbin is a gift that way. Supaman, Okyten, Ren, Chinchilla, and Aurora, it's been quite a tour de force.

Love this. Also, try Some Type of Skin, live vevo. Was shot the same day. Try some of her older stuff. She just released an album in June so it may be couple years for the next one. She likes metal, so the rumor is her next one will be metal. I'll believe it when I see it. She did collaborate with the metal band Bring Me the Horizon recently. IMO, those kinds of collabs are more likely but she may be experimenting for the next one.
