This movie STILL not being on DVD and Blu Ray is an affront to humankind. It can be streamed on Amazon for those of you who want to see a HD version, but I ache to own it on physical media. It was released on LaserDisc in the 90s and fans have transferred that to DVD-R and you can even buy it from third-party sellers online, but sadly nothing official.

MJ got his moves from several old dance styles. Jazz dance, swing, lindyhop, ballet, tap, disco and popping. The moves here are from jazz dance mainly, with some footwork from lindyhop/Charleston. MJ's inspirations were people like Bob Fosse, Fred Astaire, Nicholas Brothers, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr and many other vintage dancers from the 20s-40s.
