Hi, your page was recommended by KZbin and i am not disappointment. I love your conversation with this human being from another continent that we Afrikan are running into!!! She is inspiring me and many others to make changes and move back home to Afrika.🥳😎🙏💯

From what I've heard she is Zimbabwean born and bred then got married and went to live in Europe for over 20 years and came back. Her zimbo accent hasn't changed.

@@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298 Still her story is VERY inspiring🙏. I have lived in the UK going 40 years but i am still black and a Ghanaian born and bred and i still have my Ghanaian accent 👏🙏. Wode Maya has never lived in the western world but encouraging Afrikans to return home. The Chinese are running to Afrika - ask yourself why? Please we need encouragement to come back home -Not Pull him/her Down ideologies. What this woman is saying is the TRUTH!! 🙏🤐🤨

@OdopaFoods The truth must always be told. **How did this white Zimbabwean woman suddenly become an expert in African affairs after living abroad for 38 years with her know all superior attitude?* **What made her leave Zimbabwe in the first place? **Did this white Zimbabwean woman refer to African lads as *PICCANINNIES?* 🤔😲 Goodness gracious me!!! Gosh! I've not heard such a lot of HOGWASH in a long time. I'm in the diaspora in the UK for over 20 years with my family & love the cooler wet climate. We have Zimbabwean friends here in UK & in other western countries and believe me, we are very happy & have no intentions of returning to Zim. Good luck to this white Zim woman - we cannot ever contemplate living in Zimbabwe again 😁 kicked in the teeth - our teeth are still loose. 👋 .

Very true Kelvin. You also need to learn Ndebele, you are too young to not speak it. Even I can speak Shona. Ndebele people were wiped out by the Gukurahundi in the 80s they was no redress for them but they are still welcoming.

Ndebele people are a diverse nation made up of people from Mashonaland, Kalanga, Venda, Sotho, Tonga and other tribes found in Zim and South Africa. Very diverse and welcoming. Very democratic and misunderstood by haters and jealous people. I am Ndebele and i hate tribalistic Ndebeles. I cant talk about none Ndebeles because i would be judged, and i don't want to be misunderstood

You're running a good show young man, your stories have inspired plenty people, plenty people!!!! Now, as someone that has managed to come this far and inspiring other people, I believe it's also now time to speak to the powers be on how they are going to safeguard the ancestral lands against the illegal removal by the GVMNT like we've seen in Masvingo and other towns early this year!??? That needs to be addressed so that everyone feels comfortable in migrating and investing in the rural areas 🙏🏽

She thinks her views aren't going to be popular but they are and resonate with most of us. Black Americans were angry on our behalf that a white woman won miss universe Zimbabwe 2023 only to realise we black Zimbabweans don't care and don't share their world view. If only the government could be genuine about their open for business mantra which they are not. So much red tape and doing something for the community is met with too much suspicion and gatekeeping. We need to do better. Best episode yet.

Before colonization, our communities were very different. We lived in harmony, often leaving our doors open without fear. Acts of violence such as rape were not part of our society. Our native ancestors were sensible and lived with respect for one another. However, colonization profoundly disrupted this way of life. It’s important to acknowledge that the current state of our societies, including many of the challenges we face, is a direct result of the actions of colonizers. Her ancestors played a significant role in shaping the present circumstances for native populations, and recognizing this historical impact is crucial. I understand that she is trying to undo what her ancestors did, which is worth noting and appreciating.

She is so right, our ignorance as Africans is astounding. It is painful. Even your title here Kelvin is showing your ignorance, why “sadly left Europe” which suggests she has come to Africa which amounts to nothing. We look down at ourselves and our culture and others take advantage of that. Biggest cringe is asking someone else how you should “wake up” that means you’re not seeing what’s happening around you. Africans need to wake for sure, it is painful coming from another person of another race.

I think she has her facts twisted when she says the ndebele people are hospitable more than many other tribes, like which tribes🤷🏽, thats crazy, thats sick to be honest, even the majority of Ndebeles themselves would object to that one phrase, Ndebeles are not naturally welcoming infact violence has always be known to be a part of their culture, they love the weapons the ndukhus/knobkerry and rekeni/catapult as well as amabembas/machetes its what we know them for but ofcourse they have other good attributes that they have as well, however the ladies are generally nice especially to men from other tribes because of all the beliefs they have for instance they believe shona men have money and are less violent and stingy, she should go back to researching things so she gets her facts right, i reckon its good they welcomed her with open arms in Matopo but she doesn’t have to be biased just because they accepted her in that community. I don’t mean to be negative and all but i just love a good factual conversation not marred by emotional bias.
