Wow, Shady Acres land is beautiful. Watching the goats snack on live plants (Spring is awesome) for an hour or so, Herc's toe healed and he's cruising around his herd, Bruno hears all the fun and wants out. OMG, ya'll are getting this homesteading thing down, and bring us videos sharing that and so much more. Keep on keeping on, ya'll are the best!❤

Hey guys, for the wasps take a brown lunch bag and put plastic grocery bag in it. Then twist top of brown bag and hang up on the rafters. Wasps think it's a hornets nest and will stay away. It works.
@cindygebhart96186 ай бұрын
And yes it does work. Use it at dairy barns alot

I loved this video, y'all. Seeing the goats out grazing and Herc walking around keeping an eye on them...perfect. I was really surprised at how green everything looks, it is just beautiful. One thing though, Kyle, please don't take out that little fence until you know exactly what you truly want to have in that space. Right now it looks like another goatville, and would be a place for the goats to graze, while their original spot gets some relief. Just get rid of the barbed wire...that can go to the metal folks at the same time the rest of the stuff does. Use the pallet forks to pull the wire from the fence posts. Just my thought. Thanks so much for this peaceful evening walk. Y'all have a Blessed day.

I agree with Shanon on keeping the fence posts, reuse is good and efficient strategy.

THIS WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL VIDEO! All of them are great but this one was extremely enjoyable. I love the peaceful conversation and walking around the farm watching the goats graze and play. The bird-birds are always fun to watch and Herc is a remarkable LGD. I can’t wait until Bruno gets to join you on these outings. Check each other good for ticks!

I agree. Their videos seem to fly past. I, too, so enjoy watching all their adorable critters just do their thing. It's so calm most of the time. When it's not calm, it's funny with the fur babies antics. Or Kyle ducking and dodging wasps!

I saw a documentary about bees. They said: bees ARE NOT color blind. They use color as a part of how they find their way back to their hive. So, the doc said to paint your bee invaded space a different color at night. When they leave in the morn, they can't find their way back that night. Sounds interesting to try.

I love the post! Use them as a grand opening to something to be determined later. You may want to fence off the forging area to put the goats in when you need to be cleaning their area. Or, you may want to fence off a future orchard or garden. The post give Shady Acers character. Stick bird houses on top of them. Hang signs on them. Think outside the box Kyle. Pigs...now your talking; if it were me, they would be my first choice. Love you guys...all of you, especially Herc and the Guinee's.; reminds me of home.

And the best kind of spray is one that keeps the residual and they won't come back to that area
