I always enjoy your videos Jon. Is that T2 you use a Special edition or Classic model? Also I find a lot of those slate roofing tacks but I think they are copper and not brass. I’ve been sorting my detecting finds into copper, brass, and aluminum bins to either melt down someday or turn into the salvage yard and when I use a file to check the metal the tacks seem to be copper and most spoons I find are brass inside. I heard you say copper spoon but think it’s brass. Not that important but I know you like to describe things as accurately as possible. Good luck and keep swingin’! PS. I’m also a JD and a Jon!

Great hunt Jon, heart heel plate from ladies size shoe has been attributed to camp followers during the civil war as a way to find their tent in larger camps. As a side note, the description "hooker" came from the ladies imported from new Orleans to occupied Nashville for the troops companionship by General Hooker.

The hexagonal lead stick( broken off piece) could be from the original plumbers at the house. The plumber would melt down sticks of lead to a molten state. They would then use that lead to make the connections on the large drain pipe fittings. Using a small ladle to dip into the vat of hot liquid lead. Oh yea.
