As xscapes number one fan im qualified to say this was an EXCELLENT video showcasing each members voice and them as a whole! This video showed was ive always known, xscape is one of the best female vocal groups of all time! All four members are great vocalists in their own right. Kandi has a tone that you either love or hate but she has amazing control in her lower register but can go up into the rafters in a beautiful and controlled head voice and that shows SKILL. Tiny is a lyric soprano and executes her little growls flawlessly and without losing pitch. And she carries the soprano harmonies well. Tocha has a very powerful voice and def shines in her upper chest belts. Thats something a singer just has or doesnt have. Cant be taught. Tamika is my favorite vocally bc i just love her tone. She is the most consistent pitch-wise live, and shows the most control and musicality in her adlibs. And when she gets into that mixed squall she has such an authentic churchy type of sound. Its like there such a genuine anointing in her voice. Everyone wont get that. Lol all four can blow.

Latocha has the voice but those runs were always OVERKILL. Tamika had the BEST VOICE in the group-good control and pitch. consistent too. Kandi's tone is not great, but she held down the bottom harmony and her head voice is everything. Tiny had some great growls and she was the best dancer and was the sexy one of the group.

Kandi is the best bottom note anyone can have in a female group. Her tone and abilities down there were everything. She literally gave the group its sound gelling it together. Otherwise it'd be a bunch of high yelling. Tiny's smooth soprano were of perfect pitch to me. Always the easiest to listen to and still had power. Wish kept going instead of listening to T.I. ass. Tamika i must admit probably was the best and most underrated voice and most consistent next to Tiny. Latosha just kills it for me. She does to much. All that unnecessary running and all just uugh. If she kept it passionate and soulful with out all that excessive shit she'd be that bitch with her pitch problem having ass.

Kandi’s voice DEFINITELY made Xscape’s harmonies differ from other girl groups in the 90’s and her whistle notes are immaculate. Tiny has an amazing soprano tone I love her voice. LaTocha has a powerful voice but she lacks control, her runs are all over the place and down right annoying at times. Tameka is the best singer in the group hands down...Kandi has even said it plenty of times! She just never cared to sing lead like her sister.

Tiny has the best and purest tone in the group. Her voice is the most pleasant to the ear. Kandi has the most unique (but polarizing) tone, and her voice is the glue in the harmony eventhough she sang the lowest note. Tamika is very consistent and has very good technique. Latocha is the most dynamic and powerful singer of the group, but she also has the least control and shaky technique.
