I listened to Mr. Peter Stories of this version and it makes more sense than this one. If a corporation is willing to give you money for your hospital, how does the hospital have power to remove the CEO of the company wanting to partner up with them. It makes no sense.

1) Ethan runs an investment group. The hospital board has nothing to do with that. He's a charitable donor, not an investor. That means the board doesn't want to do ANYTHING to risk losing extra funding. The investment group has its own board. 2) The chances of quads in a natural pregnancy is extremely rare. 3% of ALL births are multiples. According to the CDC, there are about 112 quad births in a year. Most of those are caused from invitro fertilization. Fraternal quadruplets resulting from natural conception are occurring in only one in 729,000 births. 3) She's less than 3 months along. NO baby can survive at that stage. It's less than the size of a plum. There aren't even any identifiable sex organs yet. They would be giving her meds to stop labor, and in no way would consider a pre-term birth surgery unless she's going to die in the immediate future. All four babies would die. There is 0 chance of them surviving.
