So Stephanie to explain a bit why Violet seems a bit dumb letting Dain touch her face. In the earlier part, Dain told Violet that he had to touch someone's temples to take the memories. Not just that, but Violet actually at this point trusts that Dain would never do that without her permission and still sees him as a best friend since childhood, so she doesn't know that he only has to touch her face, specifically her cheeks to steal a memory.

STEPHANIE PLEASE SEE THISSSS Day 39 of asking Stephanie to do a video on a book called Caraval. It’s like a fantasy/clue/treasure hunt/romance book, it’s very entertaining and the next books just get better and better. But the first one can easily be a BAM and btw the author is also named Stephanie which is very fitting. The book is about two sisters who have dreamed of going to this once a year event called Caraval ever since they were little. It’s like a week long magic show where you have to follow clues and find whatever that year’s “treasure” is and the winner earns a wish granted by the creator of the game, Legend. This year the sisters receive an invitation sent by Legend himself so they embark on a trip to the island in which the games will take place but as soon as they arrive Donatella (the youngest of the two sisters) disappears. Scarlett thinks her sister must’ve already entered the game so she does as well only to find out that this year’s Caraval revolves around Tella. Whoever finds her first wins the wish granted by Legend. If nobody finds Donatella by the end of the week-long games then she will forever be gone. The book is part of a trilogy but I think it totally could work as a BAM without needing to do the next books (tho you surely could if people and yourself enjoy them). This story makes you not trust anybody. And even if you’re constantly reminded that it is all a game, you fall under the same trap the fmc falls. It’s full of mistery and has a pretty shocking plotwist (at least shocking to me, but maybe you’ll see it from a mile away. Though I hope that’s not the case). It’s one of my favorite series of all time and I can perfectly picture you and MMB enjoying it.

A school was attacked by armed terrorists which ended in the killing of 150 children and leaving over 100 injured. it shook the nation and is to this day a horrific memory that every Pakistani runs away from but it deserves recognition. the parents never got justice. they can never get their children back. there's a lot of politics involved as aps stands for army public school and most of the students in attendance came from military backgrounds, this is believed to a reason as to why this school in particular was targeted.

You mentioned previously in another part of the retelling of the book that the magic was soft magic and also the enemies to lovers were not really enemies so I recommend The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. It's the first of a trilogy and contains more fantasy politics alongside adventure with a dash of romance. I really loved it and think it would suit a BAM😊

I would not recommend reading iron flame, not because I did not enjoy it, but because I feel like the wait for the 3 book is killing me. It’s funny how your little break gave me the opportunity to read both books. The 1st part of iron flame is a very slow burn and kind of repetitive but it picks up quite quickly the 2nd part of the book
