I'm sure Uche knows how lucky she is. For me, I try to get to know the core of the person. If I see the person is genuinely a good person and you take care of my kids well, I can tolerate almost anything. People make the mistake of keeping evil people in their homes just because the person is good with chores (or eye service). I don't mind hiring 10 cleaners to come and do chores and go. As long as I get that one good person that can stay with my kids, I'm good. Some people lose good help because other people advised them to let her go. Smh.

Uche reminds me of the last help I had before I relocated to the U.S. Glory used to drink the alcohol in our mini-bar. She wasn't perfect, but she was a good person. She was great with the kids as well. One time, a pastor said I should send her home for reasons that he didn't clarify. I never sent her home as he said, rather she stayed with me until the day she said she had to go. The morning she left, she cleaned everywhere and made sure everything was in order before leaving. I cried when she left, and Glory was the only help I ever cried for. You are right.....noone is perfect.....we need to learn to live with each other and treat people how we would like to be treated.

I did'nt see anything special about her eat or drink. People should stop seeing poor people as a liars. She drinks those drinks probably because she never tested it in all her life. The same with knew food, if you have opportunities in life, also understand other who are not. And when you have not pass through, what other people pass through in life you will not understand them. Can we all please appreciate the fact that both Nelo and Uche both have a good heart and are willing to learn and unlearn. There are houshelps that even if they meet A NELO OKEKE raised to power 10, they do not appreciate 1 bit of what you do. Many people are complaning about Uches behaviour here, but me i am seeing someone who is comfortable enough to sit and chat with her employer, because she is well treated. I commend you Aunty Nelo for that. Personally i have never being a maid, but whereever i have been, family friends, family members, acquaintances etc and i was treated well, i am myself. And being myself, my flaws comes out as well. I might make mistakes but not as much as i would have made had it been i was treated poorly.
