gave a wry smile at your description of 1672 as extremely old. Lovely bird pictures, those of us that take them know how hard it can be to get a decent shot, all I managed this morning were pigeons so very envious of your birdlife.
@sailingintermission5 ай бұрын
Hello there, Alan! I know, here in the US, extremely old takes on a rather wimpy meaning, LOL. I appreciate your knowledge of how hard it is to get bird/wildlife shots. We often joke when we take the Sony out that all the wildlife some how know and they become camera shy. Pigeons...well they have their own bling. Take care and thanks for continuing to be with us. Love your comments. ❤️😘💖

Hello, Bowen747, and congratulations on becoming a boat owner. I think you'll love having two companion ways, especially if you have guest. It makes it so much more private. Please keep us posted as you put personal touches on your boat. I read once that manatees/sea cows are so very gentle, kind and wonderful to swim with, unless you have a head of lettuce. Then all bets are off, LOL. Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment! Fair winds and following seas to you and I bet those 12 months will go faster than you think. 😘❤️

Ahoy! And Mayday! I've got a 1978 CNSO Mikado. The hydraulic steering cylinder that attaches to the rudder post is leaking so I need to get new seals. The problem is that the previous owner scraped up the label on the hydraulic cylinder with a tool and I can't read the model number on the cylinder to order new seals. I'm hoping you might have the same cylinder with a readable tag on it showing a model number? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I LOVE THAT. Believe it or not, we've actually wished we had a couple of pet manatees to do just that. They seem to like growth on the pilings and don't come around boat hulls. I've wondered if there's an agreement between them and the divers that clean boat bottoms. LOL. 😘💖

boat update.. sent 600 by walmart for need parts and mechanical repairs, engine over heating and steering issues with hydrophilic system. both being taken care of tomorrow morning, boat captn and crew and the relationship with the previous owners have improved and are friends now.. thats important folks. this was hard but i had to intervene a few times my boat man is a lil aggressive when thing aint right.., all all is good, boat is full of supplies, , ready for a safe and comfortable passage about 400 miles north ofsouth key largo to hudson fl. where , my new boat named , Isabel will have to lie dormant, covered and secured for another 12 months,at dock. like a early christmass pressent to myself,, then at high tide and the winds are right, ... her delicate and withered sun baked and blistered dock lines will be severed free by the blade of my cutlass sword, as the line drops to the oceans florr, , may the winds take her sheets to a full breast,, that she shall never see a dock line ever again............to be free with the wind once again.... the freedom of isabel
@sailingintermission5 ай бұрын
@@tarpanc34 Welcome to boat life, Tarpanc. Hopefully, Isabel will arrive soon, safe and sound. Don't get rid of all your dock lines as all boats need to dock at some point, fuel, provisions, repairs, etc. Are living in Hudson, FL? A lot of refitting works best when a boat is on the hard, so you and Isabel may be getting acquainted before your 12 month estimate. Thanks for keeping us posted and please continue to do so.
