I don’t think I could have stayed silent. I can’t imagine the strength it took for her to endure all that for her children.

This story hit me so hard. Sometimes silence feels like the only option, but it’s so inspiring to see her legacy break that cycle.

Honestly, I would have left. Staying silent only helps the abuser. But I understand why she did it, especially for her children.

I grew up in a family where silence was encouraged. This story really spoke to me. It reminds me that change is possible, even after years of silence.

I think silence was the only choice she felt she had, but I’m glad she left behind a legacy that showed the truth

I understand what you’re saying. It’s heartbreaking to think about how different things might have been if she felt safe to stand up for herself. Nandi’s story sheds light on the struggles many face in silence, and hopefully, it inspires others to find strength and support to make a change.

If I were Nandi ,I would never stayed with that evil man, shame on him for the despicable way he treated his lovely wife. Karma paid him well, he lost the respect of everyone including his children. Very educational story

Thank you for sharing your perspective, Carol. It’s true-sometimes people who treat others with cruelty ultimately face the consequences, even if it’s through losing the respect of those around them. We’re glad you found the story educational, and we hope it inspires others to recognize the importance of respect and kindness in relationships.

Even the trees shed things that no longer serve them. You *DO NOT* have to stay in a relationship to prove your strength to others. Bless them with your absence.

Beautifully said. Sometimes, letting go is the strongest thing we can do for ourselves. Thank you for sharing such a powerful reminder-blessing with absence is its own kind of strength.

Enduring physical abuse, verbal abuse or emotional abuse is not an Achievement! Loosing one's life in the name of enduring such abuse or for the sake of Children is absolutely foolishness/ a lie from the pity of hell. At the end of the day the Children always suffer. Terrible cycle that sometimes the children display the same behavior as adults. Imagine Children have to watch mom getting beat down and wanting to protect a grown Women, who refuse to leave a looser man. The children needed to be love and protected. 2024 Women need to stand tall stop confusing abuse for love or keeping a marriage.🙆🙆🙆🤦🤦🤦

You make a powerful point, Janice. It’s heartbreaking to think of the lasting impact that staying in an abusive situation can have on children and future generations. Nandi’s story reminds us that true strength is not about enduring abuse but recognizing our worth and standing up for a better life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and encouraging others to break the cycle.

Thank you, she was very silly for risking her life to make a foolish point. My cousin did the same foolish thing and was beaten to death in front of their 12 month baby boy.
