I own a reactive dog so I'm fully aware if what the risks are and in Sukis case they are promoting Sukis behavior by leaving her intact for no reason. Shes had 3 or 4 litters now? This isn't fair to either of them. Hasn't Suki already given birth to THREE litters? They both should be fixed. Thankfully the awesome SF Shiba is currently livestreaming the H -Team. They are now 40 days old. This is Nori's SECOND AND MOST LIKELY LAST LITTER. Only one of their dogs - their second female Kika gave birth to three litters. The other dogs only had two litters or in Chiyoko's case just one litter. Please do right by both Suki and Shiro and have them fixed.

They have already said they aren't having them fix due to the risk of health complications in older dogs. Being in heat doesn't hurt either dog, and the owners are obviously responsible with watching them, as Suki has only ever been pregnant when it was planned by them. Breeders typically raise 4 - 5 litters with the same female before retiring her. They are doing right by Suki and Shiro, this is perfectly fair for both of them. Suki is in great health and is taking a well deserved break from puppies right now, whether she has another litter in the future or not is completely up to her owners.

Shiro is just doing what all male dogs do when a female dog is nearing her heat. How would he know what is right or wrong... Poor big potat!! Suki has moodswings and very fragile as all females get during this time. Both are not at fault... It's natural 😊 Meanwhile I'm relaxing because all my furry girls are fixed and sleeping peacefully 😊😀.

Lol people be freakin out I dont know much about breeding, but fixed or not dogs fight sometimes. Usually for dominance, but im sure its like they said- she's in heat. At least he's not like bears, who will eat babies just for the chance to mate with a female. THAT'S NATURE! And its not always pretty
