I just discovered you today during my shift at work. Been watching a ton after getting off work and it's been really inspirational for me. Just the genuine human interaction and your want to make people happy is having I think a pretty positive impact on my mental state, but also maybe a dangerous one. I got shot twice a year ago while stopping an armed robbery and while it saved my life because I was very very depressed before that, it also destroyed my life and has left me disabled to the point where work is just non stop pain but I push through cause I want to make a difference, I want to save people, and I want to make people just feel safe in general. (I do armed security foot patrol in a dangerous area) I recently had a horrible breakup and it's left my wondering what my purpose in life is and if I even have a chance of making it in a world that doesn't cater to the disabled enough for them to self sustain. I've been seeing the atrocities in Ukraine and it's had me deeply researching what it takes to go and fight for Ukraine. I kind of talked myself out of that idea because I'm very depressed and felt like that was my way of contributing to the world in a meaningful way, and i likely would no longer have bills, or anything else... after seeing your Ukraine videos, and hearing and seeing more horrendous shit than I've seen anywhere else in the media, now I'm back thinking I need to go and use the skills I still have regardless of a gsw to the knee cap. I can still walk, I can still run, I can still fight, but my body isn't going to hold all that much longer. I just turned 30 and the pain is only getting worse. There is a very high chance that I only have a very limited amount of time to be able to do really ANYTHING I want to do, especially helping people with the skills and willingness i have to put myself in danger for the sake of others. Man am I conflicted. I can't sit by and watch horrors happen that I know I can help with but only for so long. I apologize for commenting this on THIS video... it just got me thinking and I went on a rant. Love what you do!
