Not only in China, in many countries as well. It's not that it's legal, instead, it's considered a serious criminal case, especially when the victim is a minor (like this one). The problem lies in the fact that victims refuse to report the crime due to social discrimination and potential evil eyes from others. In addition, if the victim is a man, the case is considered closed and dusted under the carpet for him and his family since it abhorently udnermines his future reputation, and potentially career, family, and so forth. Sad, but true.

I don't know how to explain this drama, but it's a good romance drama. Recommended! Plot and characters feel fresh, straightforward and not dumb at all (so no dumb misunderstanding at all). The roller coaster of emotions from giddiness of romance, the humour, and the pain from confusion of loving someone can be felt and enjoyed clearly. The characters' emotion development were organic in a sense that it built up gradually instead of instant change.

He married her because she was pregnant and then fell deeply in love with her. There were only a few kiss scenes but they were sweet and poignant. The characters growth and understanding of each other was sweet and slow and well worth watching.

High heels can definitely be worn while you're pregnant. It wouldn't be safe if you're someone that has a tendency to fall in heels or never wore heels before you're pregnancy. Anything that you did before your pregnant it's fine as long as you tone it down. It's just anything new is where the concern is

Light drama with a touch of sweetness and conflict too. Main focus is on pregnancy and how it affects the relationship. With the fl being pregnant and the ml dealing with his highly emotional, a bit insecure, indecisive at times, and hypocritical at one point...pregnant wife. Jealousy often ensues for both. It also shows how their relationship progresses and their character growth. Although this drama does not have toxicity or abuses but i do wish the writers will stop making light of r@pe. Even if ml is being drugged, it still shouldn't be dismissed as if nothing major happened. Sexual assault is so common in mini dramas. Writers treat it as a casual thing. Tsk..tsk!

Adorei a série é muito linda interessante. A história é muito boa mesmo 😊 tem tudo que uma boa história deve ter romance . O elenco é fantástico mesmo talentosos lindos demais com atuação perfeita. I read this book. When the ML was a teen and his mom was on a business trip he was drugged and attempted SA'd by housekeeper/nanny who wanted to get pregnant to get the family money. That is why he woke up and was so violent and angry towards FL & why he doesn't trust women. His family tells her and then he tells her very early in the book so there's less than 100 chapters of misunderstanding. Very sweet book with a happy ending.

thank you for sharing... it was enjoyable, i almost dropped it cause the first part but i realized that the plot it´s not as simple as other dramas with the drug part, by the way, that drug must be really strong cause he had a horrible trauma so he disliked the physical contact but he was calm and i was shocked when i see her reaction, she just goes with the flow and the drama didn´t show what happened after that, she said it was an accident and she doesn´t act as a victim of rape so to me that was confusing. Anyway, the development of their relationship was good and entertaining hence i think it´s worth watching.

This was a slow burner, very enjoyable ❤. It didn’t help that the FL had some ambiguity around some of her interactions, but ML cut his off when he knew that it upset his wife.

The way they talked to grandma's recorded videos is so funny and ridiculous. 😂😏 Newcomers should done more drama like this, light and sensible, rather than that heavy emotions nonsensical drama which looks more a burden to the actors rather than entertaining.

The ML tried but I think the FL is better for a more free spirited drama. She is just too locked up in her gentle but not free spirit role as if she is still being careful around the ML due to the (financial) gap between them and as of they are still strangers. This gap ought to be close after they both know they like each other or when all misunderstanding was cleared to show that they fit each other. She kind of make the drama boring or not interesting enough.

I'm 2 hours in, and although the ml does not have a single romantic bone in his body, you could tell he cares for her. (That being said, you could only guess what kind of misunderstandings they have. ) the given title says, "he spoiled her like a princess after marriage" I don't see it. I was really hoping for a drama where ml and fl understand each other's feelings by now. I don't like waiting until the end to see how he spoils her. (IMO)
