The Nicaragua series was great thank you for giving more air time to this deserving Central American country. Next time do visit Corn island 🏝 on the Caribbean coast of the country it is a gem💎as well. San Juan del Sur is like the mini Copacabana of Brazil in Nicaragua, it has a great beach culture and has wild parties for foreigners. Nicaragua is only safe so as long as you don’t speak against the government/regime. The girl that talked in the video, everything she said is very true, students are forced to protest and march to show support and loyalty to the Ortega regime and if they don’t do it their only option is to abandon their studies. This means they can no longer attend universities and colleges because they become enemy of the state/dictatorship. They then become black- listed and they are constantly watched and threatened in which they can no longer get a job in any govt service profession. For this very reason so many young people are leaving the country daily. Just to let you know how bad things have gotten lately in last few days Daniel Ortega has thrown out the ‘Mother Teresa of Calcutta Charity for the poor Nuns’ out of the country. I personally meet them sometime ago, and some nuns are actually from India too, they were escorted out of the country on the Costa Rican boarder. The govt has also imprisoned almost all of the opposition party in jail. Many have disappeared, but no one knows about this happening (the international community doesn’t have access into the country because Ortega has closed all media outlets in the country) everything is happening in silence, people have vanished without a trace right into thin air. No one can ask, or question authorities about family members that have gone missing in fear for their own lives. So it comes to no surprise that she too is leaving the country as well. Thank you again, Raja Explorer for showing the reality and asking her those sensitive questions, for Indians to know what is happening inside of the country. I look forward to seeing your Costa Rican series, and seeing their ‘Pura Vida’ vibe, CR is another beautiful country in the region. Saludos y hasta luego! ☺️🖖
