Ok George, to answer your question, in my opinion as we have talked about, no you will never have another Ginny. Will you have a young dog step up and take over , yes absolutely you will. You are a great houndsman with a good line of dogs so given the chance and the time a young dog will step up. Will it be Ginny, no it won’t. Will it be better than her, possibly. But a dog like her has a place in your heart and nothing can take that spot I’m fortunate enough to get to hunt with her some and definitely appreciate the hound that she is

Many people have dogs they run bear with but few in my opinion really have a bear dog. They are few and far between. A lot of "bear hunters" hunt with someone that has a real dog. They have what I call me to dogs.
