She Tried Feeding a Cow (Gau Mata) at Iskcon Temple London

We decided to fast on the first day of the holy festival of Navratri and what better way to kickstart the festival then to visit the beautiful Iskon temple in London and break our fast there. The temple had more things than we could have ever imagined. Hope you like this attempt of ours to show you this beautiful temple. Jai Mata Di and Hare Krishna!

If you fast for atleast 2 days a month ( you may do it 2 days a week if u want) it helps you to prevent cancer and many other serious diseases and this is biologically proven and I know because I am a medical aspirant , that's why in Hinduism you will find many occasions when you are advised to fast. 😊🚩🕉

Fasting is good for your body. I didn't know that I started it recently. Doctors are discussing that 20 to 30 hours of fasting in a week can slow down aging. That's brilliant isn't it. Iskon actually follows how Krishna used to live before his life got complicated.

@@rohitb405 It’s nothing to do with his choice or not. It’s a matter of recognition and giving credit where it’s due. I’m also talking about the fact that no one in the video mentioned it. Further, George Harrison was a follower of the movement and he even dedicated a song to Lord Krishna. It’s called, “My Sweet Lord” you can check it out KZbin if you’ve not heard it. This very fact would cause him to be identified with the movement and the temple. What’s surprising is that it’s a well known fact that he donated the temple and even the person who came forward saying that he could answer any questions didn’t mention it either. He said when it was established but not how.

The time when you both were having 'prasadam' touched my heart. The thought process that was going in my mind was that how far a person could go to feel that devotion particularly the teachings of Hinduism. I also feel pride in that we have also accepted the teachings of Buddha as well. We don't consider Buddhism and Jainism separate from Hinduism. It is nice man. Wow that is a beautiful ISKCON temple, it must take an army of people to maintain the grounds and buildings, the food they give in these ISKCON temples is all vegetarian and very delicious. You are so lucky to be near to all these places. Not many people there now, probably due to Covid-19, otherwise these temples are very crowded. When in India go to Mayapur, ISKCON is building a largest dome in the world in its temple. Search on YT, to see. All their temples are very beautiful, buy their multi volume Bhagavatam books, beautiful paintings in them. By the way intermittent fasting for 12-16 hrs is very good for health, body recycles dead cells, a Japanese scientist won a nobel prize for figuring out how and what the body does. Glad to hear you are gravitating towards eating vegetarian food. Hope you get to film this lovely place several times.
