Your "thumbs up" button is not counting up again. I also questioned what my Mom said when she said she was ready to go home. Mom was more comfortable being home with the people who loved her than in the hospital. She didn't want to die among strangers. She also had dentures that hurt her mouth. I told her to take them out. She existed on the foods your Mom does - mostly oatmeal and applesauce, or mashed potatoes and gravy. She could eat yogurt, and jello. She could drink whatever she wanted. Her protein came from the protein drink Boost in any flavor that she wanted. That was her staple. When Mom was in the hospital, I stayed with her 24 hours a day. I could not trust them there. They would come for blood tests, or do the catheter (which she didn't need), or take her for tests when I walked out the door. I was her medical power of attorney, and yet they would ask her, or just tell her what they were doing. I was there to keep her from being hurt any more than necessary, but they would ask her, and she would say "yes" because she didn't understand. The hospital crippled her because they put a needle in her foot, and hit a nerve, and her entire leg turned black over the hours I kept going to the desk and asking for help. By end of day, her leg was paralyzed. I truly would never leave my Mom in the hospital by herself. She was in for a month that time, until they sent her home to die. The joke was on them, she lived another 5 years. Be safe, I will pray for your Mom. I'll also pray for you. Please find out why your "thumbs up" button is not working. @@aprilbaxter2578 thank you. I had a look at my settings and did not see anything that can set the thumbs up off. I think I need to bring someone on board who can help me with this. The only problem with that is that everyone needs to be paid. I don't expect people to work for nothing and at this stage I am bearly making ends meet. I met my neighbor across the road from me the other day. He is a software teck and she tests the work or something along those lines. Maybe they will know what the problem is. Blessings
