Once dad said no that should have been it. Going back after saying no by asking mum is gonna cause u much hassle in future. Think about it, if you keep devaluing a parents word while bolstering the others word, the child will generate conflict between you constantly to get what they want for starters, then if she's in a life threatening situation when older, your word will mean nothing and may cost someone their life. Two things: 1) Accurate. (My tiny human #2 does EXACTLY the same thing. And now that tiny human #2 is learning to talk, tiny human #2 will say "daddy mean" (because tiny human #2 doesn't get her way)) 2) This is what is referred to, in ECEd. as inconsistent parenting.
